Pam Tillis was really big as a 90’s female country singer/songwriter, 1994 CMA female vocalist of the year. Her hits include Mi Vida Loca (my crazy life), Don’t Tell Me What To Do, & Let That Pony Run. I saw her live in the Chicago area back in the 00’s. 💜💜💜

So interesting. And what a story! They’ll remember this one for sure. Life is not always good times but preserving through hard times too. So nice of them to help Pam Tillis’ band too. I know of Pam Tillis. There was Darius Rucker and they mentioned Trace Adkins…lots of talent there. Love Home Free and love those men/women behind the scenes. All super important for success! Good one J & J!

Thanks for doing this one today. It shows how versatile they are, and their kindness is above and beyond!! I’ll never tire of the BTS. As you said, unloading and reloading is a tough job and the rain is such a detriment. But theft…OMG!! That’s why they have the best people who can deal with it. Jeremy, you’re sounding better!! Me? I’m going back to bed!! Happy Home FrYday ❤ 🎶 Cyd

I love seeing their BTS! We all missed them not being on tour during covid, and it was so exciting when the concerts started back up. Definitely made me appreciate their concerts even more.

You need to find their new "Thanksgiving Song" from the Any Kind of Christmas album. The song is wonderful, and the video is something special. Also, Pam Tillis is one of the "Queens" of 80's/90's Country music.she had some pretty big hits and is someone that the guys would have listened to growing up.

There was this band I was friendly with that had their trailer of equipment stolen while they were on tour. They weren't a huge well known group at the time and the trailer was just a small fully enclosed pull behind trailer like you can rent for moving. They were panicked with the stuff being gone and started reaching out for some help. About 4 hours later, their electrical stuff was found dumped somewhere. So obviously, the thieves wanted the trailer. But they did keep all the guys clothing, which I thought was so weird. They could have made money off the electrical equipment but dumped that, kept the clothes and the trailer?!?! I remember the lead singer was "upset" that they kept his camouflage Waffle House hat! LOL BTW, the Thanksgiving song is beautiful. Makes me think of family thanksgivings when I was a kid. Worth watching and listening!

Enjoyed this in the absolute craziness of my work day, started watching 4 hours ago and just finished watching. Crazy just happens! Been there in a smaller scale of our gospel group! We don’t have any where close to their gear. I can’t imagine. The worst for us is we get to a church that doesn’t have any ground wire in their electrical outlets which is horrible for sound! They are definitely resilient! Low bass Kenneth!

The thing that always strikes me watching this is how apologetic Luke is that they could only provide seats and not sleeping quarters for *nine* extra people. Home Free's kindness and generosity isn't just the guys, it's the whole organization. The stuff being bleeped was, for the most part, names of tour bus companies. They were discussing whether she was using the same folks they were. It's understandable that there would be issues, if you think about it -- nobody was touring, so all those buses were sitting for a year and a half.

I just looked up Pam Tillis. Her father, Mel Tillis was a country singer too. Now I have to listen to “Send me down to Tucson”.

After watching this, it really makes touring look unglamorous! Definitely not a "show up and sing" affair. I really like that they had "Remember This" as their last song; quite apropo. And I LOVE Austin's and Rob's t-shirts during rehearsals! 😂

If you ever heard of Mel Tillis (An outlaw country singer, popular in the 50's 60's) it's his daughter. She's a country singer/songwriter.

Do you remember the movie Smokey And The Bandit? Pam Tillis is Smokey's daughter. She was a country singer who was very popular back in the 90's with Garth Brooks, and Shina Twain.

This should be compulsory viewing for all young would-be touring entertainers. Pam Tillis is a major country music entertainer and it was fun (though I'm sure not for them) that both bands wound up with fricked up buses. BTW, Pam Tillis is the daughter of late country star Mel Tillis. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
