Jennifer! Oh this was a fun one! Right in Home Free's comfort zone. They can sing *anything* (even opera 😯) but I think these boys are happiest putting on a flannel shirt and a pair of jeans and singing a song like this one. You were in rare form today! Great analysis. Home Free is always so much fun. You said our ears hear the high parts first. I didn't realize that. I played tuba and sang baritone/bass. I always hear the bass first.

Oh as a music nerd this about made my head explode. ALL of them are doing some awesome things. Chance sat dead in the middle of this one..and only if the music nerd in you is dying to know..Chance has me thinking he's singing with the actual Piano notes..(an acapella piano pedal effect??!) I walk around singing this song a lot since it came out. It's an earworm..like many of their orignals. Could nerd for days on this one with you. Always so much to hear when these guys get together.

If you’re curious about Texas Hill, Adam Wakefield (piano) took second place on The Voice and Casey James (guitar) came in third on American Idol. I liked both of them on their respective TV competitions. This is an amazingly catchy tune and, of course, wonderfully performed! Thanks, Jen!!

It’s so good! I love it too. Tim and Adam Wakefield wrote a good one. Loved Tim’s low notes. And Adam has a good, gritty voice. You’re the first reactor to notice their jackets and shirts. I did too. I want Austin’s and Chance’s jackets for sure and their shirts are great too. Glad to hear this on a Monday morning!!! Twelve of the songs on the new album So Long Dixie are originals.
