Bastien has received an overwhelmingly warm reception from the biggest majority of Home Fries. Of course there will always be a naysayer who won't give him a chance. He has only done rwo videos with them and some folks don't want to give him any time to settle into the blend of voices. I think he's doing a brilliant job. He sang with them on and off before they picked up Austin. All of the guys are great friends with him. He has the same goofball sense of humor as the rest of them. The future is bright for HomeFree. Austin will do fine with his solo career also, which is exactly what Austin wanted. So...,win, win all around. The guys seem to be revitalized with Bastien in the mix. Now we see happy faces.

I'm looking forward to what Bastien brings to the group. Their cover of " Something to Talk About " was his introduction and it is fantastic! I think this one is very pretty. Thanks for the Home Free reactions!

Thanks for your reaction. Another beautiful song by Home Free. Nice that they featured Adam Bastien again on lead vocals for this country song. The background harmonies were great along with Adam's beatboxing. Also love the very touching video that went along with the song. Our lives are so busy these days but we need to connect with those we love in small special ways.

Such a pretty song. The “new guy” is Adam Bastien (pronounced Bass-teen). He was with HF a long time ago before Austin. I think he has a great voice. This song is originally by Vince Gill. Boys did a great job with this. Love those harmonies!

The new guy is Adam Bastien (pronounced bas-TEEN). So there are three Adams in Home Free now. The video they did "Something to Talk About" was their introduction video for Bastien.

This is a cover of the Vince Gill original who wrote it for his first wife as they both struggled with careers in show business. Their marriage eventually came to an end and he married his current wife and another great singer, Amy Grant. Vince's original is also well worth reacting to.

Such a beautiful rendition of a 90’s Vince Gill classic. Adam Bastien ( Bass like the fish - Teen ) is their new member. His first video with the group was Something To Talk About ( Bonnie Raitt cover )

The new guy is Adam Bell-Bastien (bass-teen), called just Bastien because there are now 3 Adams in the group. Y'know, like Adam is Chance when with HF. He isn't really new to the group. He was with Home Free in their very early days (2000-2002 or so), part of the backup group, if you will, filling in when someone couldn't make a gig for whatever reason. When Home Free won season 4 of the Sing-Off in 2013 and had to tour with the show Bastien was part of the B group that covered the bookings they already had. When Chris Rupp left Home Free and started the group 7th Ave his sister Tristin and Adam Bastien joined him, with a rotating list of performers as the 4th member, one of which was Jerome Bell-Bastien, his husband. The Bell-Bestiens appeared on the Voice as OneUp and have YT videos as OneUpDuo. Check 'em out. They sound great.

IMO this new singer is too boy band sounding. This is sad to me, the uniqueness of their sound disappeared. I've been a fan a while and have gone to 2 concerts and this makes me bummed.
