I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.

Home Free brought it hard yet again. Rob and Chance's harmonies were rich and tasty, Tim's bass line, soul hugging, Austin's lead was totally spot on and Mr. Adam Rupp again went next level. He tore it up with some new elements he brought to the party. What a fantastic cover! Anyone who's never seen or heard Home Free before, listening to this would never know there were no instruments. They sound as if they have an entire band backing them up. Sooooo good! Great reaction.

This was the song to dance to when it came out in '72. It was easy to get a girl to dance to this, and during the slow part in the middle of the song, everyone would dance in slow motion. Fun song, and the guys did a great remake. Adam Rupp went crazy on this, and Austin was great as lead. Excellent effort from everyone.

This is simply excellent again!! Sung so well, but for me it's Adam who really makes it so great. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. He's so handsome. I do like that he has his hair a bit longer again and then with that bandana on.

You made me laugh talking about Chance showing excitement. Lol Even when he’s excited about something he’s still chill. Love that about him, though! Adam definitely killed it on percussion. Those drum cadences were so cool! Austin’s lead was out of this world. Rob’s harmonies with Chance were the stellar. Tim dropped them bass notes like a bomb! It was a total party! The Doobie Brothers were from my generation and I love their music. Even had the chance to see them in concert decades ago. Home Free rocked here. I didn’t even get the Country music vibe from this cover. It sounded like a more modern version.

Back in the day, it was called "country rock" by some who tried to pigeonhole it. The Doogie blended rock with country and Delta blues in the early years. Then Michael McDonald came along and took the band more to the pop side. Not to knock Michael, but I much prefer the earlier incarnation.
