Home Free just dropped a new video on July 29. It's called Brother.
@callie33962 жыл бұрын
Adam Rupp has been working on his vocals this past year. He has added a new section in his solo where he harmonizes with himself using a loop station. In this song those super high notes are Adam not Austin or Rob!

I always think one of the things that makes me love HF so much is that they come across as genuine and nice people. Very content with what they do and happy in where they are, and that really comes across. Austin has a great voice - so powerful and so controlled and when he lets rip, like in something like this, it's a joy to hear! Love this for the way Adam gives us that new facet of his with the high high notes - he's always been so reluctant to let us hear his voice but he has also always said that his range sits between Rob and Austin, so actually the high notes are easy(ish) for him.

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.
@greatauntielou61582 жыл бұрын
I played this song to death back in the 70's when it was a mega hit for the Doobie Brothers & I fell in love with it all over again thanks to HF's fantastic cover. As you've missed a few (these guys release new music every 2 weeks or so) may I suggest another one to blow your socks off "Ain't Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up' Garth Brooks cover, BUT word of warning, you'll only find it on their Facebook page due to copywrite issues with YT. If you've never seen Garth Brooks perform this song watch it first!!

Doobie brothers cover . Originally from early 70s (maybe 71 or 72). Like many Home Free covers it honors the original and is familiar to it, but they've made it fresh and their own. Even if you don't react to it you should listen to the Doobie Bros version. (Or react to any Doobies - cus they're classics)
@pennygarrity3862 жыл бұрын
Home Free kicked ass again!!! The Doobie Brothers had guitars, drums, keyboards and other instruments to make this iconic song. HF only had Adam and their own vocal talents to make it a classic once again 50 years later. Our boys NEVER disappoint! Love all the new sounds Adam added and glad to see the bandanas are back. He looked like he was having so much fun making this video. Sorry guys I'm still saving to buy me a ticket for next years tour hoping they'll be within a hundred miles of here.

This is killer. Austin's voice soars so high he could knock drones out of the sky. The harmonies were as rich and tasty as a Thanksgiving dinner and Tim's bass line was beautiful. But Adam Rupp! He beat boxed the hell out of this song. He's always adding new and creative elements to his repertoire. He usually has free reign with his vocal percussion and some songs call for more restrained and conventional percussion. But when he is able to flex his creative muscles and hit the rev limiter, you get his insane skills gone wild. These guys just make me smile with their talent and skills. Thanks for a great reaction.

First of all Home Free you absolutely kill every song you do Outstanding.. I got to start by saying Adam Rupp you deserve that title Freak of Nature.. your beatboxing was out-of-this-world.. the high notes you hear in the background are none other than Adam Rupp... As for the rest of you that was amazing..I have absolutely got chills.. I am so glad I found you years back you had me hooked when I saw you on The Sing-Off...Love you so much Home Free you're my Boys 🏡🆓🏡🍟 You did the Doobie Brothers proud Home Free..
@JoanN632 жыл бұрын
This is simply excellent again!! I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. Really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And the vocal he plays like that high note, I think it shows that he must have a great singing voice. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. He's so handsome. I do like that he has his hair a bit longer again and then with that bandana on.
