@@antrazitaj5209 I love how "Champagne tastes on a beer budget" was written by Tim way back when and he was told "you are under contract to write one more song" and he got drunk and wrote it in one night! Tim is so talented in that regard. I am of course a Homefry, with huge respect for the whole group and all of their talents. See them live, it is SO worth it! I did, even got a VIP pass to meet the band and ask them questions. It was great, and it was a small town in NH, I love that they sing small and large venues.

I love Chance's bass in this. I was wishing they would sing this last night at their show, but, sadly, they did not. Check out Robb's performance in "End of the Road" and "The Broken Road". He's the bomb.

A great love song, an original written by Tim. Such a nice song to listen to. Compliments to Chance when he does the bass, often underappreciated what he can do. And then Tim when he goes tenor. Incredible! What a beautiful video where it really seems that they are in a Snow Globe! Really so well done!!

Cole yes SME sometimes blocks and claims their older stuff...but starting in 2019 they formed their own record label and now produce and do everything themselves....and they get to keep all the revenue too !!! Starting with the Dive Bar Saints album....by the way the album title song Dive Bar Saints, is an amazing song written for them by their friend, Arliss Allbritton....it's an amazing song for after the Christmas holiday !!! Check out their cover of "Mary, did you know" or their cover of Stevie Wonder's classic 1967 hit "What Christmas means to me" but bring your laugh as it's funny as heck...you'll appreciate it (oh and Rob takes the lead)

As far as the copyright stuff, believe it or not, we haven't had an issue with SME (yet!); it's actually The Orchard (who I guess is currently managing HF's content) that is rejecting fair use claims on HF's newer material like "Listen to the Music." Love when Tim and Chance switch it up and Chance sings bass with Tim as lead, and vice versa! Chance did a great job with the bass here! I wonder if he did the guitar sound effect at end. All of the guys have the talent to mimic different instruments.

Having watched a ton of Home Free reactors I was surprised to hear about the unfortunate copyright issues. I know a few of the older songs had issues due to label affiliations. The members of Home Free are usually very appreciative and supportive of their reactors. Glad you are continuing this journey!

This is one of my favorite originals by them! I love Tim's range, he sounds so natural high or low! Aussie legend John Farhnam was diagnosed and treated for mouth cancer this summer. Can you react to John and Jimmy Barnes live singing Something is Wrong with my Baby? Truly a jawdropper!

Another great reaction to this Home Free original. I love your style to reactions direct and on point without rambling on to much. The guys did a super job with this song. Other Christmas songs that are very good MARY DID YOU KNOW, GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN (it is a collaboration with a very talented group called Texas Hill.) and one of their very best is DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR. Tim wrote this one - you might also want to watch another one he wrote "What's Left of My Heart". Videos of Austin's originals include "Cold Hard Cash", "Love Me Like That" and "California Country". The covers of "Beautiful Soul" and his original "If I Met You Now" on this channel are worth a watch as well. By the way, if you haven't seen the duet "Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera" with Austin and Rob - it's amazing! Just my own "Nerdy Observation" (I still love that phrase!)

I know I’ve mentioned it before to a Reactor, just not sure which, to react to Adam Chance when he was in Street Corner Symphony and they did “Madness!” He was so consistent with the bass and honestly, it’s kind of a longer song and to me as a non-singer(except in the shower or car,) not being able to change it up periodically would drive me nuts!!! That’s why bass singers need tons of love because they hold the entire song together, but their part is pretty repetitive!!

This is one of my favorites too! I'll never forget the first time I heard it and even though I knew Tim had that crazy range, it was still "surprising" and just plain mesmerizing. I just don't understand why they're not played on "Country" radio. It shouldn't matter if they're "a capella". They're just as great, and in many cases, better than what's considered "country" these days!! They deserve to be recognized. I'm curious to know if you have an opinion either way, being that you yourself are a country music writer and performer. Thanks for such a positive, complimentary reaction. By the way, I believe Tim wrote this one. I don't know if he collaborated with anyone else though to do so. Looking forward to the next one!

Love this song. They do some very very good originals. Too bad we don’t hear them on radio and that there is no acapella category in country music awards. Truthfully i think they could hold their own if put up against other vocal groups with instruments.

You're not at all the only reactor who has had problems with SME, who own the rights to HF's earlier videos. It's hard to understand the motivation behind it, but it's had the effect of shutting off an important area of the HF catalogue. It's worth contacting other established reactors to compare strategies, and just keep appealing against the decisions. One thing I enjoy about this one is the little smile on Austin's face when he knows Tim is going for the high note but also knows that he can top it quite easily.

Just joined so to watch you experience the journey of getting to know Adam, Austin, Chance, Rob, and Tim. When you mentioned liking Rob as lead if made me think of a video you might like. It was at a Christmas show at a high school auditorium and Rob takes off with Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog (Joy To The World). Sorry do not have a link. Chris Rupp could also sing bass while Tim was on lead. I think Chance was offered the position because he can cover both bass and baritone. Darrin Rust,their producer, did the guitar. He has an a capella band,the Blenders that still make appearances. Tim is incredibly gifted as a singer songwriter. Thanks for your review!

Awesome song! Home Free loves reactors, some even got special messages or concert tickets from the guys. My understanding is, that reactions to certain songs they did while with Columbia records are difficult to upload or get taken down after a while. No idea why, especially since it doesn't apply to all songs. Personally I think reactors basically give free advertising to great bands.... :-)

After some research, I think it's just The Orchard (who appears to be HF's current content manager) rejecting fair use claims out-of-hand. So far, the videos that have been rejected are reactions for "Listen to the Music," "Brother," and "Brothers in Arms." No explanation; just "The copyright claimant (The Orchard) has rejected your fair use claim." We've tried contacting The Orchard directly in a bid to get the videos back up while avoiding a copyright strike situation, but, so far, no response. - Cole

I’m surprised you’re getting Home Free videos blocked. They are very appreciative of reactors and understand that reactors are bringing them more fans/supporters. As far as the full season of the Sing Off, evidently some versions don’t get hit by copyright while others do. I know Patrol Nation did it with no issue. I’m hoping you can get it sorted! All songs from the Sing off and Up are on Columbia records lable, and therfore their property/ copyright.. It ended with HF's "Dive bar saints" album, that are on their own lable, and every album since then.

It’s so good. Yeah Timmy wrote this one. Such a clever concept with great lyrics…just like a snow globe, you shook me up. Just like a snow globe we should settle down. They have quite a few originals especially on the Dive Bar Saints album and the new one So Long Dixie. The boys have some really silly Christmas songs that are original too. Full of Cheer, Cold Hard Cash. I love their classics though. Angels We Have Heard on High has a nice bluesy arrangement. Mary, Did You Know, What Child is This, O Holy Night, Silent Night. Good reaction and I’m sorry you’re having problems with the release of reactions. That usually doesn’t happen. Wonder why? 😕
