According to Chris, he came up with a list of butts songs, gave them to Layne Stein of VoicePlay who figured out the basic structure of the medley, then Adam took over and did most of the vocal arrangement with Chris coming in for a final polish. Adam is very much an "a cappella voices as instruments" arranger and you can hear his influence in this.

Love this! Home Free is great in concert and you would love them! While I'm a PTX stan, I'm more of a casual Home Free fan which almost made it better because I didn't know at all what their concerts would be like and because they have smaller crowds than PTX it is definitely more personable where they can joke with the crowd and let their silliness come through.

This is so hilarious but very complicated vocally. You can tell even back here that Tim had a bit of grey coming in. I love them showing their butts making this a fun video instead of trashy. The guy in the overalls is a friend of Rob's. He's actually gone onstage at a few live concerts.

I saw them this summer! They were absolutely phenomenal live! They were at the Hodag Country Music Festival in Rhinelander, Wisconsin! So humble and so much fun to watch!

I'd love to see a Butt's Remix 2 it would be awesome! This is certainly one of my favorites. The guy in the overalls is Rob's buddy Beugs he has known since college and they do a podcast together called The Avid Indoorsmen where they talk about movies. Beugs also is an acapella singer in another group called The Sound Exchange and he has shown up in several of their earlier videos. Like "Honey I'm Good" and "Can't Stop The Feeling".

The gentleman in the overalls is Eric Buegler/Buegs. A good friend of Rob’s who they requested do this video and he agreed. He and Rob also do a podcast together and frequently feature the Home Free guys and/or their significant others. Oh I am so glad you did this one! The 1st time I saw this I was like "I can't breathe! I can't breathe!" (to quote Donkey in Shrek!) I was laughing so hard!! There is another hilarious one they do called Guilty Pleasures that is just as funny. It's not a music video but on stage live, but the quality is good. Thanks for making my day Travis! I love this reaction. Not only is Home Free hilarious, but you are as well. Notice that, even thought they are singing about girls' butts, they only really show their own butts in close ups which is interesting. And sensitive if you think about it. I wish Tim had done more head banging in Fat Bottom Girls. He was really going there for a minute. No one seems to notice this, so take a look back. He is showing some Queen appreciation there. Lord, don't get me started on how much I laugh every time I watch this. Notice during the Ham Sandwich clip, Tim ends up eating the ham sandwich over to one side. OMG. This bunch of guys are never afraid to make fun of themselves. That is so refreshing. And in spite of their massive appeal and rightly so, because of their harmonic genius and amazing talents and humor, they are so humble. I mean, Tim still blushes if he is paid a compliment. This is such a fun video! Great reaction!! Home Free is on tour right now, check out their tour schedule. Maybe they will be near you. They are in Duluth MN this Saturday (about 3hrs from me). Unfortunately, I am not able to go this time. Then they are in Mankato, MN (the band originated here) on Dec 18 but this is the same day that Pentatonix is in Minneapolis and I have tix to see Pentatonix!! 😊
