When they make a funny video they are like 5years old on a sugar-rush, being completely hilarious, simply having fun and make you laugh with them and... still making incredible music along the way. They are equally good at making you cry as they are in making you laugh. If you want another laugh - Champagne Taste - written by Tim Foust, the bass.

Believe it or not, they do have country music predecessors, who have also been Home Free mentors. Home Free covered "Elvira" by the Oak Ridge Boys and featured them. The Oak Ridge Boys have over 40 years of recording history and commercial success and they are still performing today. "Elvira" was their biggest hit. The two groups performing this together is joyful classic of combining the Old Guard and the new.

This made my day seeing you react to one of my favorite bands. Chris (cowboy hat) came up with this concept, and arranged this with beatboxer Adam (they are brothers and founded HF nearly 20 years ago). HF arrangements are fantastic and videos can be serious or fun depending on the song. I totally agree.. Nooooooo......NO MAYDAY until at least 12 or more different varieties of what they "normally" do, otherwise, the whole shock & appreciation effect won't be there. Try "honey im good" with Miss Millie, and I'm going BIG requesting a double reaction: official video vs. live Version? Or "when a man loves a woman", but the Miss Millie fir that one too. @@momD612 - they don't have to wait that long. As long as they know their names and their usual position, that's all they need. There are so many songs that show everybody's ranges, Mayday isn't an isolated special song anymore. Now some learn everything quicker than others but to set a random number is not necessary.

You could listen to any Homefree song and be blown away. Some of my favorites "When a Man Loves a Woman", "Brothers in Arms", "End of the Road", "Hillbilly Bone", "Blue Ain't your Color", "Mayday". You must listen to "Do you Hear What I Hear" near Christmas as this is one of their best. I have heard you asking how these Acapella groups sing live, you should check out there performances from the TV show the sing off (acapella singing competition). Pentatonix won season 3 and Homefree won season 4, along with Voice play who came in 5th place on season 4.

Hahaha loved your reaction. Home Free can do it all. They can be funny or serious but their songs are always good. They didn’t really show women’s butts but they showed their own. Their beatboxer is world class. You can see his video Adam Rupp Drum Solo on youtube. He’s outstanding. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can go super low but also sing tenor. They have some other goofy ones you might like Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Country Fried Pop Medley. A serious one just came out where Tim goes in the basement, Brothers in Arms. This is actually a medly, or mashup, of butt songs, the actual songs are The opening of Baby got Back, Honkytonk Badonkadonk, Wiggle, Fat Bottom Girls, Baby got Back, Thong Song, Country Girls (Shake it for me)...then the ending is a little mashup of a few of them. Also, go back and watch, notice Tim eating the Ham Sammich, the Tim doing the beat boxing during Baby got Back while Adam does the scratching. The actually used all their own butts as to repect women. Just a bunch of good 'ol boys having fun...they are an amazing talent, and amazing people.

Here’s a hint for these ACapella groups...(well, I’m speaking of Home Free and Voiceplay, not sure about PTX), give the outros a few seconds before you cut them off. Sometimes there’s just the Patreon credits, but sometimes there’s a little addition at the end. Like if you do Voiceplay’s stunning “Halo Theme,” do NOT skip the outro. It’s very significant!

My favorite is "Blue Ain't Your Color", it has a real boyband/motown vibe to the video which is very fun for me, as I'm a Blockhead from way back. While Home Free are fine musicians and can be very serious they also have very strong goofy side that comes out in some of their videos. All About That Bass and Full of Cheer are 2 examples of that. They also have a lot of videos which are taken by fans in their live shows. Search for Home Free Falls in Denver 2018 and Colder Memory Lapse - What Were They Thinking for inadvertently funny moments from their shows. And then there's the notorious half hour long video titled Home Free Concert Morrison, IL 8/19/15 that was actually one of their greatest and funniest moments. Along with some great vocals.
