Bravo! This is really so awesome! A great entrance for Bastien, but as if he had always been part of Home Free. The Home Free sound is just there. Especially if you listen to it with your headphones. Because even though the lead, harmonies, bass and beatboxing are so great, you still hear/recognize every member sound/voice in this song. The video is also fun, as if Home Free is in my living room where people are singing and laughing.

It's a little more than "as if he had always been part of Home Free." Bastien has had quite a bit of experience WITH and IN Home Free. Here's a direct quote from Home Free... "For those of you who’ve been with us for a long, looooong time you might actually already know Adam. He already shares some Home Free history. For a period of time after Adam Rupp and his brother, Chris, founded the band - and just a few years before we went on The Sing-Off in 2013 - Home Free was definitely a rotating cast of talented characters. We had been lucky enough at times to have Adam lend his talents to us during those years. After Austin told us he would be leaving the group, we gave Adam a call this spring and we were thrilled when he said he wanted to meet with us. Bastien fits in so well.. he’s bringing 15:10 those money notes..but I can also hear the potential of a sweet , soft tone..looking forward to hearing a ballad and showing his full capabilities. What a great introduction to the new guy! According to Rob, this was Bastien's suggestion. I'm glad he's not a vocal-clone of Austin. That would have been soooo wrong. Yup, the high notes towards the end were done by Chance. He's got quite the range, too. Which is totally awesome. Love Tim's bass on this one, too. And Rupp's beatboxing is fabulous as well. And Rob's ad libs. Overall, a perfect song. BTW, all Adams go by their last names (professional last name in Chance's case (it's actually his middle name)). Though I see a problem with Rob and Rupp... They can sound quite similar, depending on the pronunciation. Thanks for the reaction.

I am so glad they showed Chance doing that high note, because people don't realize he does that in other songs, too - just like Tim does. They needed a singer with energy to fill Austin's place, and they got it in Bastein. And they knew him already, he'd been in HF years ago. The shot of the guy with the mtn in the back looks like it was Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier.

Really glad you reacted to this one.😀 YES!!! That lovely held high note was DEFINITELY Chance! This whole thing was just superb. Thank you VERY much for the reaction. Speaking of Patreons...have you ever reacted to Chris Rupp's arrangement of "When the Saints Go Marchin' In?" I didn't go to your catalog and search. If you didn't, you should pick up on it. It was in 2016, shortly after he left Home Free. There were two other big name YT-ers with him, AND...they did the video AT the Patreon offices! Patrons also join David Wesley for background choruses. You could check out a couple of them, but (sigh) warning...he doesn't allow reactions for some silly reason. The music, however, is wonderful (old hymns, many times...he's a very strong believer). He was doing the window-box thing LONG before the "crud" came along. A lot of people modeled their lockdown stuff after those videos. Anyway...once again...THANK YOU for this great reaction. 😀

As always, their singing, harmonies & Adam's beatboxing are great. Bastien is from Detroit and I've read that his full last name is Bell-Bastien (a hyphenate with his husband's name).

Hmmm...I see more dance moves in their future. 😉 Adam B has more natural rhythm he is very comfortable with and it shows. His performance presence is great and adds energy. He 's not an Austin, can't go quite as high, But he fits in and I'm enjoying his voice. Don't You love Chance In his high range. Tim is 5-octave. Chance is 4-octave. Got my tickets Home Free is here In September. I try to find them close-by. They are my Birthday present to myself. Adam Rupp will always be my Adam. Adam Chance will always be Chance so Adam Bastien will be Bastien.

We don’t know the full range of Adam Bastien. At least I don’t. So not sure if he can or cannot go as high as Austin but it doesn’t matter as the song inspires the artists to show what they can do. We will never know
