So many reactors laugh so hard about the appearance of the ham sandwich that they never notice Tim eating the sandwich in the next shot. (Which is one of the best parts of the video.) I think that all the stopping and rewinding you do during your analysis gives you a chance to catch the things others miss both vocally and visually. Keep up the great work.

As a lady of a certain age I have a philosophical objection to slapping grandmas (!!!!) but I love this! Home Free are often hilarious, particularly in their videos, but the musical quality is always excellent. Looking forward to the rest of the week, but you could do a whole Home Free month without running out of great performances.

I'm a 62 year old man that believes that you shouldn't hit a woman, butt I think in the spirit of the video a little lite slap on grandmas behind is justified and in order.

It's a southern expression, where something is so good it'll make you slap your grandma. Not that anyone actually would, but it's a saying.
@roguemerlin19692 жыл бұрын
It is just a Southern slang saying and doesn't actually mean you are going to do it. Another you may not have hears is to Teach Your Grandma How to Suck Eggs
@katrinaprescott59112 жыл бұрын
@@kerowynsmom3531 true. "Slap your momma!" is also a saying and from my experience more common - the songwriter used the other to fit the meter, I imagine. It's an expression of astonishment and no southerner would EVER dare to raise his or her hand to either mom or grandma. That would be a good way to get your own self "slapped into next Sunday" for sure. 🤣

So I highly recommend some of the videos Home Free did during Quarantine if you want to see their sillier sides, especially Austin. Sea Shanty Medley, Quarantine, Sunday Best, and I Swear are the best examples. Plus some of their older ones: Cold Hard Cash for Christmas and Grandma got Run Over by a Reindeer. Quarantine in particular would be a great one for you to watch without having to react to it. It's mostly a note for note of Honesty by Billy Joel with just a few impressive sound effects from Adam and I think Chance rather than any terribly strong vocals. We're there for the lyrics and the video on that one.
