Adam is the beatboxer, and if you noticed...he was working his butt off. He makes sounds with the human voice that I've never heard any one else do. Tim is so pitch perfect no matter what key he's singing in, whether he's hitting those really low bass notes, or hanging out in the tenor range. But then with a 5+ octave range, I'd expect nothing more. And Austin was so good at scatting, but he can also yodel, and make train sounds and a variety of other things, too. Rob takes the lead on a lot of their videos, and IMO- his voice is so clean. It almost has what I'd refer to, as an angelic sound. And while Chris may not have the range that the others have, he's one heck of a talented guy. And if not for him, there wouldn't have been a Home Free at all, so we'll always be greatful to him. Now that he's persuing a solo career, I wish him all the best. Didn't mean to turn this into a book...lol. Thanks Jerod, I can't wait for more.

More like jazz than country -- that's what talent can provide. They don't cover songs, they force them to evolve.

Thank you for the reaction. I love Home Free and Adam is the beatboxer. Rob has a beautiful almost angelic voice that is so great and his whistling ability is stunning. You should react to 'Blue Ain't Your Color'. A lot more of Rob and Chance (Adam Chance) singing and the choreography is amazing.

I love their comedic twist on some of their videos, they are so good at bringing humor to the table! 'Beer budget' is a really good example of that! Seriously funny lyrics and a great original for them! It was written by Tim! Keep your eyes peeled for a tiny bit of Avi Kaplan (PTX) in there towards the end too! Please react to "Hillbilly Bone" (Serious low bass from Tim!!) and "Mayday"! That one, I think will surprise you! Great reaction and hope you and yours are having a great 4th!!

They all have amaazing lead voices, master arrangers, songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, who love a cappella! ! ●Austin's soulfully, flexible high tenor just amazes me sometimes & looks so easy for him (dad used to tour w/a gospel band & he'd sometimes come with, when little)! ●Rob has the sweetest tenor voice ever & yet a very full voice, it makes their crazy harmonies sound very rich. ●Tim Foust's 5 octave range is crazy but he also has a beeootiful voice *Tim Foust-Can't Help Falling In Love* -tribute to his Gram (AUDIO ONLY, but sooo worth to REACT to) & original songs/album on his UTube Chl. ●Adam "Chance" Chance took over from Chris when he left, was bass w/his aca-group Street Corner Symphony & were 2nd on Sing Off 2, has awesome bass/baritone 4 octave range/voice. ●Quiet Adam's the best-a cappella bboxer in the biz - he bboxes a full concert backing HF & solo (if he ever had time to practice being a solo bboxer, he could be one one of the world's best: plays solid trumpet, bass, guitar, piano/keys & some drums---used to sit in w/bands & bbox in clubs (sometimes vs drums) between gigs, in the early days & loves techno, classical & arranging video game theme music, etc, great arranger (like unique *Do You Hear What I Hear* ) ●Chris & Adam/Mn, started the soul/pop grp, then added Rob, became more country-ish w/Tim/Tx, Austin/Ga & Chance/Al joined.. Chris is uber-talented- after 15 yrs, went solo (w/their blessings), has a lovely voice: see Chris Rupp's UTube Chl & also formed band w/sister Tristin & friend Adam (that'# 3 Adams!) > both a cappella & with music & has albums out for both, called 7th Ave Band!☺ They're all master arrangers, songwriters, multi-instrumentalist s, who love a cappella

I really loved your reaction to this and your remarks. I think Rob's tone is amazing and he has an incredible voice control. The same goes to Tim (when he gets to sing instead of just being a human bass guitar 😉😂), but you might not see it right away like you do with Austin. I was actually pretty surprised when I heard Rob and Tim do beautiful riffs and runs because until then, I'd heard those only from Austin.

Drummer's name is Adam Rupp and he's Chris's brother. They started the group in college. It didn't start off country music, they mainly did that to get on the Sing-Off because they had auditioned before and were turned down, so they decided to do something unique. Austin was from GA and had a southern accent, and Tim's from Texas and was supposed to be a stand-in bass for the group, he was going for a solo career as a country artist before he joined up. He's been in a couple of other Acapella groups prior and loved it and decided to stay with them. So anyway, now they do country that isn't "too" country and I like and now I will stop rambling Lol!

If it had been only a solo performance then out of solo performances, I like Scott's best, but they took it and made it original and suited it to them, so it is a no brainer. Now...if PTX were to cover it...I don't know what the outcome would be. haha.
