The landowner of the camp is losing patience and dumping more snow near their tents. Several campers share their reaction to this. I also have heart-to-heart conversations with Kristy, Navo, and Uncle George, who each open up about their struggles.
Finally, I have my one and only interaction with the child who lives at the camp, a 12- or 13-year-old girl staying with her mother.

I lived in this encampment when this was being filmed, I was living in a tent pregnant as f***!! When they bulldozed us... everything I had gotten for my daughter was lost. I got a one bedroom apartment a few days before my daughter was due. We now live in a 2 bedroom apartment and are very blessed to have made it out of the camps.

@@ThePeriphery Thank you, I have kept in touch with a few people from camp check on them when I can. It wasn't easy I can tell you that, but also the help is there if you find the right resources and people it's just finding them that's the issue. I think you talked to me and my daughters father Ritchie while you were there one time. I think we had breakfast and coffee together.

@@courtneyparker5895 Oh yeah, Ritchie. We talked a couple of times. Actually, he was the first one I spoke to there, but he was also less interested in sharing much on camera. And, yes, I remember he was about to a be a dad and that I was able to meet you once as well. Congrats again on the home for you and your baby. I hope others in this series see your comment and get inspired to work their way off the street.

A warmer climate may be advantageous. The mother with a child needs to be housed and receive benefits. The young girl is in an extremely vunerable position for exploitation. If her mother is unable or unwilling to receive assistance, the young girl should be in foster care with someone following up on her placement from outside a state agency as these placements don't always go well. As you must know, State identification, an address and the ability to receive mail are first steps to access substantive assistance.

At this point in time we are really being oppressed by the land owner the city Denies trash pick up and they were dumping trash on us from random places that they were rebuilding or taring down taking away porter potties the Owner was getting paid for loads of snow to be dumped on us And dumping snow by the tuns as it was melting causing it to flood us out. I found3 more camps later this year in this film KING

There is truth to your words yet people can become so depressed they can become catatonic unable to take action to improve their lives. Others are beaten down by abusers, mental health issues and drug addictions or alcoholism to self medicate. We who have more should share and care more.
