The title says "Home Made Aloe Vera'. But you are adding chemicals to your organic aloe vera, then how it is organic? Also, they are going to destroy your hair and skin in the long run. Carbomer and TEA are chemicals... so what is the difference of purchasing aloe vera gel online (which has chemicals) and making it at home by adding chemicals. I mean why they both are the same. so why waste your and other people's time just for the sake of some views, comments and likes?

If u bought store aloevera gel it contains 80%water and 20% aloevera. We used 80% of water is formulated like gel using carbomer and triethanol amine. We can use food based Preservative making home based aloegel.This is according to my knowledge. We can adjust carbomer and triethanol amine as per our consistency. More over we use real aloegel not water when formulated at home. Thankyou

Preservatives are just increase the shelf life of the end product so I don’t think that it will change its consistency I have no idea of optithen plus preservative because i have never used it , if you are familiar with this preservative and its result you can try it ☺️

Vitamin E and Rose water doesn’t have properties to make aloevera in gel form …. But if you use natural aloevera with rose water and vitamin-e it will surely make your skin clean ,brighter and healthier

Triethanolamine I believe is to neutralize the carbomer to balance out electrolytes. You can soft clear xantham gum. But it tends to give a sticky gel compared to carbomer

Hey Diva Queen The reason for stickiness - May be You did not heat the aloevera gel water well .You have to heat it at low temperature until it becomes transparent and stop making white foggy structure Second Reason- May be you add too much Carbomer or TEA in it . The process should be in well proportion otherwise the result may vary .

Natural things are always best so you can use natural aloe vera by refrigerating it 🙂 As I mentioned about the shelf life , without preservatives you can store this aloevera gel only for about 45 days but if you add few drops of preservative like Geogard ECT in it you can increase its shelf life upto 10 months . These are the chemicals we actually use in the preparation of aloevera gel so they are safe if used in proper quantity . And just add around 0.5 gram of preservative in 250 to 300 gm aloevera gel not more than this . Too much preservative is not good
