As a qualified UK gas man, the yellow flame is ‘Vitiation’ there is not enough air mixing with the fuel at the injector point. This set up will produce large amounts of Carbon Monoxide and soot due to incomplete combustion. The injector needs reducing in size. Because the pressure is constantly depleting in the large vessel, the ‘Gas’ pressure will slowly reduce, leading to variation in combustion performance. Sorry, not a very practical device.
