Yes, some dog parents love the home cooked and our holistic vet definitely recommends it over kibble. He suggest reading Dr. Karen Becker's books which is what we're doing. We are pretty much 95% raw with the HuskySquad, but we do incorporate treat meals like this for them. Lots more to come on this subject! Having had northern breed pups in our family, in the past, and currently, I realize how challenging harnessing that energy is! I also enjoyed your video with the soothing music. This was great! For the past 22 years that we've had Great Danes (always rescue), we've found free feeding them kibble was the best. Never had issues. The oldest pure Great Dane we had was 14 years old. This is the first time we have a Dane that has 2 fistulas and the vet said to start her on a no chicken/beef diet. Wouldn't you know, she and the male are allergic to salmon. The other female can eat anything LOL. What do you think would be a good sub for the fish oil? Also, I'm trying to figure out how much to actually feed them. I just want to make sure they get their correct crude protein and crude fat for their breed. My 3 say hello "woof!" to your three! :-)
