Wisdom and the Woods

On this episode of Wisdom and the Woods I show you a pellet burning stove I built a few years ago. It was built 99% from scrap. I never thought it would be a working model but to my surprise it worked with very little tweaking. Please forgive me, it's been a very long time since I used it, so I might not have used the most efficient lighting process.

Hey y’all, there is going to be a follow up video correcting a couple of little things I said in this video. I was going off of memory from years ago. Keep a look out for that one or Subscribe and hit the notification bell to automatically be notified when it comes out. Thanks.

Thank you for watching and commenting. It’s never too late to learn until we’re gone. You are absolutely correct, things may go south when certain people in high places see things not going their way. The good people will have to look out for one another. Please come back and visit the channel.

impressive heat on your pellet fired rocket stove !.... Might I suggest a few changes ? right now you have a pile of pellets on the back side of your burn rate piece.... it would be better by far if those pellets in the pile were being held up about 1/4" from the bottom in a "V" in other words turn your burn rate metal piece upside down and put it under the tube....cut off the protruding tube so you can get the "V" under it this way you would get a better burn you can still control the burn rate with the doors by cutting off the air supply.... i found in my experiments that steel does not last very long at these temperatures... stainless steel works so much better ! and will last almost indefinitely. you accomplished alot with using JUNK as material to work with ! well done...

Hey, Absolutely! I think I may have somewhat of an understanding of what you are saying.. I may build another setup and use your method on it, that way I can keep my original unit and do some mods to try and improve on it. I may even try to make a V grating that will work with my current angled pellet feed as one of those mods. I really appreciate your input. I hope I can use your offered advice and experience to my advantage.👍🏻 Thank you for the advice, the comments and for watching.
