Impressive progress! Don't get me started on the fish... husband let my youngest bring one home from a fair, and he has been with us for years. We have spent hundreds of dollars on him, including a 55 gallon tank, because he was getting so huge that the ammonia levels were too high in the original 10 gallon. The things we go through for our kids - and fish! Love your little guys - so sweet!

I love your way of thinking, put it back organized and life is much better ! I had a goldfish that lived over 10 years and had to have a 35 gallon tank ! I had to bury him he was so large and he was one of the 4/1.00 at Woolworths ! Love the kids and how sweet they are, you gotta love those eyes ! You have some future heartbreakers there !

Hi Sophia - I'm sure you know this already, but be careful with any kind of glass placed in doors, unless it is certified toughened safety glass - kids/glass doors = not a good combo. Even for adults it can be a hazard - I know someone who managed to walk straight through a plate glass door and lacerated her leg so badly that she almost haemorrhaged to death. She's fine now, but it took months for her to recuperate. Thanks for being so funny and inspirational. I'm working on a few household projects myself at the mo, so I love to watch others struggling alongside me, lol!

Hope the fish is gonna get fed lol when my sons had a fish tank in their room the fish didnt get fed, I have a loach and he is 5 inches long and he is an old man now, he is 5 years old, he was in a tank with lots of fish and another loach but he killed them all off, I think he likes to be alone lol, his main diet is broccoli he loves it. xx

I had never noticed, but when you hugged your son it became obvious that he is ALMOST as tall as you are. Won't be long until you are seriously looking up to him.

Maryann Anderson yep, Edward is 5 feet 1.5 inches tall and only 12!. I think he s my mom s size now! He was always tall and lean. Was born 22 inches long and his feet were 7 inches! Off the charts throughout early childhood. William on the other hand is a tiny one, I can't get him to grow.

We had one of those big goldfish that hung on forever. I knew that I would be the one cleaning it, so I set it up on the kitchen counter right next to the sink. Drained it with a syphon and cleaned and filled it right there. Never replaced the fish when it finally went, but I was talked into a dog not too much later. :(

I bought an oversize art portfolio for each of my grandkids. They are WONDERFUL for storing their art/school papers that are too large for a file folder. They slide behind a desk/sofa or under the bed. They can often be found at an arts & crafts store or on Amazon.
