Good morning everyone! So today’s video is a quick one just to show you the finished room and a look at what we did to achieve it. Of course we documented most of it in our previous renovation vlogs and on Instagram stories (@emmahillhome) so this is more of a recap and the reveal. This room was done over the last 2-3 months so although we numbered the days it wasn’t done in one go, but it gives you an idea of the hours we put in to achieve it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend x

You know Emma .. as well as KZbin and marketing I think you both are so talented renovating without the need of professional help you would do wonders buying small houses in auction and selling after renovation..you’d make a lot of money especially that I feel that you enjoy the DIY … just a suggestion 😝

It has been delivered (it was shown in a couple of the early DIY vids) but we still can't find someone to hang it. Simon is tempted to give it a go but neither of us have done concealed hinges before and so don't want to risk damaging the door, but hopefully when we have some of the garage work done the carpenter will hang it for us then (if we don't find someone before hand🙈)

I never thought that I would be hooked on home reno videos. But, I am hooked on yours. They are increasingly entertaining. The style, the time lapse, the music, the content all work together for great videos. I know that your home will be completed at some point but I selfishly don’t want the videos to end.

It’s not the room, the styling, the hard and speedy progress; it’s the amazingly harmonious teamwork. Gets me every time. Well done, you (two)! If I might offer a suggestion as to your fiddle leaf, it looks from here as if it’s suffering a fungal infection due to root rot. I won’t bore you with the treatment as you can just google it. Hope it recovers quickly!

The challenge is that overwatering (root rot) and under watering both have very similar symptoms. We seem to have some nice new foliage coming through but some of the older larger leaves dying off, so we are hoping it is just from the move and then the warm-cold conditions in the kitchen but only time will tell. Im sure now he has a final spot that should be more consistent with sunlight/warmth/watering etc. that he will be OK🤞

Love the music with the sped up video..it was almost a well choreographed dance. You and Simon are such a great team and what an absolutely lovely space to work or relax in.
