The most important thing, from my point of view as an apprentice for application development, is that the office has to adapt to you and not the other way around. I'm hopefully mostly done with that myself this year when I re-do my desk (standing desk as well, but most-likely stationary due to it's size). But yeah, I managed to put most things the way they should be when I enter the office. For me, I'm an "early bird" (and I'm f-ing lazy) so all the lights are on, the PC is on when I come into the office etc. Gonna need to re-do some shelves, but this is personal preference and, as I mentioned before, I do need a standing desk that's able to adapt to me. I can tell you, even though, I'm in my early 20s, I feel it. I feel my back when working like 10h-12h a day at my desk (photography is a deal for me, too and livestreaming as well, so yeah. Quite a lot of things are done on the desk every single day!). Also having an environment which fits your needs as well as sparks your creativity is always good! Even though, if it's just picking up that guitar and just playing one or two songs or whatever to relax or something. It's always important! And, as an IT guy, I do feel your argument about printers. These tiny little.... UGH! THEY. ARE. A. PAIN. :D

Chris, great video! I’m in the process of converting a shed in my front yard (100sf same!) to my photo office exactly like yours, and to meet with clients. I’m dry walling it, putting in lights, and AC, and painting it. Thanks for making this video, you have some great ideas i will be using in my office. And yes, i love the Mercedes photo on metal (I’m a car nut), super cool, and would buy one. The concrete wall is sick, I’m looking into that. Fun fact - “Below the fold” comes from newspapers. The huge headline and pic are laying there to catch interest, but then you pick up the newspaper and unfold it so you can read the actual details that are “below the fold”
