Can't wait to see your progress on your chicken coop and run plus all the other projects. Boy do you need tons of gravel. I so despise mud. 🙁

My grandmother would make warm corn mill mush with a dash of hot peppers usually Louisiana hot sauce when her chickens seemed under the weather in winter. It seemed to work she keep her chicken alive and well and productive longer than anyone I knew

I totally agree chicken wire sucks .... we used the metal chainlink fence with the welded 1x1 like you use on rabbit cages along the bottom of the fence so chicks can't escape and nothing can get in ...

I agree with the chicken wire, about the only thing its good for is maybe an interior partition in the coop that's well braced, good luck with the up grades

If you are getting any eggs try scrambling some for your sick rooster. The eggs will give him a good boost. The damp conditions are likely bringing his immune system down a bit.

So good to see a video from you! So, you have the "Man Cold"? Hope you get over it soon. Maybe Elvis has the Man Cold too! ;-) I enjoy hearing your plans, and appreciate that you have a vision that is methodical and well thought out, so that it will benefit the animals to the max, and cause them the least amount of stress through the change. Best wishes for a prosperous and peaceful 2017.~ Sharon
