Edit: i'm being too hopeful, i dont think theres a high chance any dnb or breakcore song is gonna get on the top 10 of spotify, but just the fact that more ppl are getting into it is undeniable and great, the more the better

My favorites tracks that are less well known are Antidepressant, Squids, and her remix of Running in the Night. When it comes to Synthwave there are a ton of artists I like, I recently discovered Space Sailors and I think they are seriously underrated. My favorite song of theirs is Interlaced Dreams. I think it's kind of interesting how D&B in the most modern interpretation is interpreted as heartbreaking and contemplative. It feels like around the early 2010's it was practically synonymous with dubstep in how obnoxiously vapid, loud, and forefront it was (no offense to those who enjoy that era of course). In the 90's it felt like the interpretation of the future ahead in the 2000's, hopeful and fruitful. In the late 2010's and and 2020's, it kind of feels like a broken psyche and erupted/torn future. I largely contribute this to sewerslvt, but I understand that many moving parts are responsible for this. Regardless, I'm heavily invested in this music scene and love seeing the many branching paths it takes. I feel it is an obvious indication of whatever the current generation deems to be cutting edge and the recent future. Thus has been a drunken man's ramblings, hoping optimistically for a pleasant future but knowing full well that nothing is guaranteed. Here's to you, future generations, and your struggle to make meaning of your struggles.
