I feel like it's because the MC of the dlc sorta seems more important around the office? Like, they tell her that they want her to work during the most important times because of the fate of the world- shes kinda like that full time worker who you know the office wouldn't survive without. It's interesting how Carol doesn't hide her foliage when calling Rebecca compared to the player from the vanilla game. It implies that despite being a seasonal worker, Rebecca has been there long enough that Carol doesn't need to completely pass as a human around her.

Something I wondered is if the supernatural isn't known for the general public, then how are the operators able to just give out the information for the homeowners to deal with? Wouldn't they lose credibility for giving info of how to get rid of gnomes, or would it become more commonly known and accepted? Does this information somehow get erased from the homeowner's memories after it's dealt with? Are these all new developments of the normal world slowly starting to accept the more supernatural side?

You got several of these wrong from what I’ve seen already. The dying man isn’t dealing with the bed hag. He’s dealing with the Sugar Plum Sprites. He wants more sugar, and can’t move because he’s DEEPLY malnourished. And the woman dealing with the dying thing in her yard that gets into her house is dealing with the Mare. It’s just raiding her pantry, but it’s scaring her shitless because it’s a horse skeleton eating all her food!

@@L1ncore yeah that is true but what if the monsters are like scary and realistic like all the other creatures in home safety hotline just think about the entrys and calls you'll get in the Dlc like for example you get a call from some guy saying he hears bone rattling sounds at night and he goes downstairs to see ketchup bottles all over the kitchen floor...we both know who that is..actually it would highly depend on your knowledge of undertale and it would be very easy to know who the callers would be talking about..and if you never played undertale..you'll never know what's in the callers home
