That blows about the damage from lending out your SG. I usually hand off my Epiphone Explorer to other bands at shows if they pop a string. I've done so much to that guitar its cosmetic imperfections are its character at this point.

It's travelled a ton, got a ton of dings and chips, and I agree, it adds character. It wasn't so much the damage that pissed me off, it was the lack of respect that they didn't say anything about it. If someone does me a favor and lends me something, I try and give it back in the exact same condition I got it. I understand accidents happen, so if it gets damaged, I apologize and make up for it. They just handed it back and pretended like nothing happened. Total lack of responsibility and respect.

Yeah, I hit them up after NAMM. They asked for my shipping address, and when they saw it they were just like "...do you want to just stop by and pick something up?" lol. The warehouse is crazy, it's like Costco, but instead of cereal and paper towels, the shelves are stocked with Orange amps.

Dude this HME prototype looks so awesome. The colors are sick, and I like the pickup concept (one open and one covered, I don't know if I you know what I mean but I don't know how to say it in english xD) but 2xJH Het Set would look cool as well since silver pickups really fit the blue body in my opinion. I really hope you're launching a guitar company xD Also it's cool that you still own the east river drive since I believe it was your first demo that I watched :D

Haha, yeah it's a great pedal, and it looks cool too so I like to keep it out. I really like the one covered, one not as well; very Tremonti. The uncovered pickups are a bit bright though compared to the covered ones. Still haven't decided what I like best, but I'm glad you dig the blue prototype!

Dude!!!!!!! Awesome set up!!!!!!! Can't deny the mesa dual rec and 6505 set up, best shit out there for metal....well there is a Bogner Uberschall Twin Jet...but that is neither here nor there. Some different tubes in the Mesa sound test would be awesome? Maybe? Also maybe a Mesa 5 band eq (Mesa makes their own 5 band eq pedal) to throw into the mix with the dual rec in the future? Just suggestions maybe? Super big fan of your channel man!!!!!! Either way I always will be!

I'm sincerely asking if you will do a video of the MXR GT-OD pedal. There isn't a lot of good info on the pedal and there are no high quality videos. But with what little there is it's almost impossible to find a bad review. I know you love the TS9, which so do I, so it could possibly be a shootout video.

I notice you use 2 decimator noise gates. Is one of them running through the FX loop to tame the Pre and Power tubes? and the other obviously taming the front end. Do you find this works? Im thinking about picking up another noise gate to throw in the FX loop of a Suhr badger 18 since it tends to generate noise even with the current gate I have taming my other dirt boxes. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Someone actually using a hackintosh for content creation. That's interesting. The specs are nice too, is the GPU in there just for rednering or do you game on that thing? Always nice to see someone who's a nerd both wenn it comes to guitar and pcs.

hunter, since you have so many guitars, how do you manage changing strings? it just get expensive

Man, I loaned this beautiful Custom Shop Epi Dot to a friend for his gig. I cleaned it, put brand new strings on it (at my own cost - no request to be recompensated), and made sure it was in tip-top shape. When I got it back, he had put his grungy, disgusting months-old strings on it, and had gotten it coated in... I don't even know what. It was like he had eaten a dozen glazed donuts and then directly proceeded to play my guitar. The tuning keys were just grunged in shit.... And that is the first and last time I ever loaned a guitar as well!

lol what KZbin monies? not allowed to give exact amounts according to KZbin guidelines, but I can tell you that I get about 25K views a week, and that amounts to just under 15 bucks in ad revenue. It's a joke.

I wanted to ask im very new to guitars with active pickups I've played the Epiphone les paul prophecy ex as well as a LTD 401-QM. I wanted to ask for your opinion on the two. I hope to be purchasing soon!!

No idea about the new Prophecy Customs. I really liked the original Prophecy GX with the Dirty Finger pickups, but they've since changed the fingerboard to rosewood, which I didn't like as much. The LTD-401QM is awesome! It's like a less expensive Eclipse, and the neck cutaway is really nice.

Cathal Burke I have tried a bunch of different Jazz iii picks. I ordered some from Amazon and they messed up my order sent me the Prime Tone Jazz iii instead. They are a little more expensive but they are the best ones I have used. They are super clear and worth the little extra $$$ in my opinion.
