Hey David, have you ever used Logic? Im new to doing everything myself and and stuck between using Logic or Cubase. I'm a fan of how simple it is to use Logic and the thing about Cubase is well, damn near everyone I listen to uses it. Do you see an advantage over the program or are they basically the same???
@DavidMaximMicic8 жыл бұрын
Only thing I would change about Cubase is the USB dongle thing... I can't stand it, it's useless and just the thought of loosing it on the road makes me wanna switch from time to time. It's pretty backward thinking imo. Other than that, Cubase is superior in many aspects compared to Logic. But yet again, it's best to make a list of things you really need and don't need and make your own decision :)
@DustyTater698 жыл бұрын
+David Maxim Micic Thanks for the insight! :) I'm unfamiliar with the Dongle issue but yeah, loosing your work is definitely a big scare. I do have some time to brainstorm the list of needs for the home studio. Im basically interested in having a very similar set up to yours. iMac, midi keys, monitors, simple interface, and Im also a guitar player sooo guitars haha. You, Potato, Plini, and a few others have been my main motivation and inspiration this past year :) Plini's work inspired me to get my very own Strandberg*. Crazy enough, the day it showed up (over 6 months ago), I worked all day and it was stolen! That hurt. but just this past month it was located and is being returned to me. THE GUITAR GODS HAVE SPOKEN!! But yeah, binge listening to the Bilo EPs have been euphoric for me. Struggles and life stuff turned me away from being a musician for a period of time but I just want to say Im super glad I stumbled upon your music and circle of friend's music. Its helped me get back into it!. Thanks for all the music you provide to the world! :)
