Hi bro.. thanks so much for the honest opinion and calling out the true effectiveness of auto calibration systems. I totally agree with all your points except one. I have different opinion about selecting subwoofer mode. Selecting LFE+Mains helps you let the subwoofer handle bass frequencies below set level to take away the load from main speakers. With proper crossover settings, we can direct the low frequencies which are omni directional to sub and directional frequencies alone can be played by the main speakers. Example settings: Subwoofer mode: LFE+Mains Subwoofer crossover: 110 All other main speaker cross over: 80 This way, there is some overlap of frequencies between sub and mains, so we don’t lose any frequency. At the same time, we take out heavy load from Av receiver and mains, so that it can play mid and higher frequencies freely. Many people are using only Av receiver and no power amps. So delegating some of the heavy lifting of playing low frequencies to subwoofer(which have its own amplifier), we can reserve some power in Av receiver for other frequencies. This way, burden on Av receiver amps will be less.

Denon 7200 has 25 watts more than 7010 at 2 ch driven...power wise difference...if u have high wattage speakers u can go for denon otherwise u can choose 7010 which has little musical flavour comparing denon 7200...upto u to choose depends on speaker and room size
