I had a flooding disaster after having landscaping done in my back yard. They came back and moved a bunch of sod and dirt to slope away from my house but I also installed a french drain for any excess rain that came over or around the retaining wall. If I were you, I would install a french drain along the edge of your patio, where the rock will start. You could also put one along the side by the house if needed. Then run the end of it under the fence so the water drains outside the fence. They’re specifically made to install under rocks so now is a great time to do it!

French drains are not specifically made for gravel- they are specifically made for high water ways. They belong along side the house under gutters and near doorways that do pool and puddle. They also need maintenance and clearing just like gutters and need somewhere to escape the excess water. Like a street or storm drain path. Having no exit for it will still flood your backyard 🙏

@@Amber_Doucette I don’t know what “high water ways” are but french drains are made to pull water away from wherever you put them. As I said, they would help keep water away from her patio and house. I’m not sure why anyone would be dumb enough to install a french drain without a place for the water to go; hence my comment about a drain under the fence to the area they want the water to go. I have them along my retaining wall and where the water drains off my neighbor’s driveway into my yard. I haven’t had any water on my patio since they were installed 12 years ago.

How about this for a scammer that said he was with Border Patrol & we were being investigated for receiving by mail stuff from Mexico & gave us the ladies name in Mexico. He wanted our address, said Texas State Troopers would be at our door the next day if we didnt cooperate. Oh it just kept getting better & better. Too crazy to type it all. 😂

My husband got a call from scammers a couple years ago saying they were the Texas Marshals and that they found a rental car abandoned in Texas (we live in WV) that was rented under his name, he said it was found with lbs of cocaine and blood in it and wanted my husband to verify his info (the scam). He said ok yeah bud well if you found my # I’m certain the Texas Marshals can find my address and would know exactly who I am so I’ll be here waiting for them 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Kerri, I had worked so much putting food in crock pot while I was at work was just normal for me. Now, I would be afraid to cook something that long on stove top for fear of forgetting it. Knox is a hoot. He is just a big Ole baby. The cabinet was... great price. Glad yall got electricity in building. We got electricity ran to ours but waiting till we can clean out building to do lights and plugs. My son has alot of his possessions in there. I enjoyed the video. ❤😊

When I use my crockpot I leave it on when I leave the house. Crockpot meals were my go to when I worked. I came home from work to a cooked meal to serve my family. You can cook a roast in the oven, Ive done that a lot too. Depending on roast size I cook 2-3 hrs on 350’. And I will leave my house with my oven on (cooking a meal while at church). I dont leave my house with a stovetop burner on.

We are going through the puppy stage right now. We have a 9 month old and a 6 month old. Our prior baby, Eli, died, on 7/28/2023. He had him from 9 weeks old, and never had any problems. These puppies are eating everything, from the trim around the windows, to the seat belts in my car, to pillows and flip-flops. It's a whole new ballgame! Hopefully they grow out of it SOON!

Please seek additional help for your tooth, I had a similar issue with a filling and went to a specialist and they found a hairline fracture in my tooth. Ended up needing a crown - maybe a root canal I can’t quite remember, but it was a miserable time in my life.

i would've just put the pot roast on the oven on low... same idea as the crockpot. I wouldn't leave my stove on like i would my oven (on a low setting) bc pets can easily throw a toy or get up there and cause a fire with the element/burner being on... I do use the crock pot semi- often but honestly its more for spaghetti sauce and things like that and meat we just toss in a roaster and cook slowly... key is to make sure you have some sort of fluid in the bottom of the pan so like beef broth or chicken broth or if you're out even water just so the meat gets super tender and flavourful like it would in the crock pot. Remember that the crock pot is only 50 years old and people have been doing LARGE roasts in their ovens for waaaaay longer to feed large families every day!!

A few years ago I was at a book store. My phone ran from "the United States" .... usually I hang up, but this time I was curious. How many calls does a person get from the United States??!! I got a robotic sounding voice that says I have been seen traveling illegally in Mexico, and have a warrant out for my arrest. I stood there laughing my head off. I've never been to Mexico, and have a fear of flying.....I was told they'll come to arrest me on a certain date and time like 2 weeks later .... yeah, you betcha!!
