This is a great video! So happy is out there. I was looking for something similar when I started puzzles with my now 26 month old, I wasn’t sure how to introduce etc Somehow we did it, however her interest in puzzles is not high at present, hopefully will come back. X

I really liked the idea with different puzzles on the table 😊 our 18months old really likes the Melissa&Dough vehicle one! my question is: how do you present the puzzles? I mean they are on the shelf…do you encourage him to play with them or wait for him to show interest? 😅

We love those puzzle mix ups! I generally model something the first time and then let him come to it himself. I wouldn’t model a puzzle anymore in most circumstances just because he knows how to do them, but that is my usual go to. If there’s something he just seems to not be noticing though sometimes I will do it myself and see if he joins/takes over! In classrooms observation of peers is a huge aspect. Since he doesn’t have that sometimes watching me do it encourages!
