Good belch at three fourth demo........ luckily he only belched and nothing worse as I didn't see the cat scrambling out looking for fresh air ;-) Thank you GMD, your demos are still the best, I think I'll get this pedal soon.

ive got an older version of the germania 44 its yellow and does not have that eq switch thing, but can recomend it it kicks ass perfect biteing sustain (very fuzz like) i run mine in a pedalboard next to my ibanez tubescreamer, and mxr micro amp into marshall bluesbreaker or on smaller gigs my orange rocker and either combination the pedal works a treat. great demo nice boots,bet the cat has tinitus lol..

hey man i really love if you demo the "paradrive" from H.B.E. I've heard its a really cool pedal, but since its a ts9 clone, there are not many vids on youtube about it. Really appreciate it! 5 stars demo.

I like some pedals from Homebrew but these sound abit too fuzzy for me. I'd like to hear a demo of a Homebrew Dos Mos boost and a Dr Z amp.

A treble booster can be harsh, but you can get the best out of it if you roll off your guitar's volume & tone knobs and use the neck pu, just like an old fuzz face.

@Ncuab That's the way it sounded to me, but as you said gear will make a difference. I'm not sure the 44 is worth the extra $40.00 especially given the fact you have to give up that sexy purple sparkle pain.

Very close but the 44 to my ears is alittle thicker and tighter and also more expensive

Hard to notice the difference. The 44 might be a little bit more balanced and seems to have more bass. Would be happy to own one of them or both. Really nice pedals.

is it just me or does the dr z sound like crap when the pedals are off? I dont me any offense towards you, maybe the preamp tubes need changed? Love your demos by the way! My cat dudes run like hell when I rock out, great cat dude!!!!

You are correct, that sounded like he was on the neck pickup with the tone rolled back...horrible sound so, you can't tell what the pedals sound like.

Not much of a fan of treble boosters, but these both sound really nice. There's not really too much of a difference, but if I had to go with one....I dont know. This is the hardest time I've ever had choosing one. I guess I'd take both, cause they sounded purty bitchin together. Studiogearmancat/gearcatdude/catmandude is pretty awesome by the way. Maybe you got a deaf cat.

GERMANIA - sounds slightly nasalier GERMANIA 44 - sounds slightly warmer ***LIKE ALWAYS, it depends on what other gear you're using, how all of your gear complements/works against each other, what sound you're looking for, how it feels, and what you're willing to pay.***
