Last night (9/28/22) you were in Missoula Montana. You put on what I have been told was the "Dad's" concert.....Whitney Huston t shirt and all.... My daughter and one of her sons .... (my youngest grandson)... were in attendance. Thank you for making a little autistic boys night. My grandson holds you all in awe...he knows all of your songs...and dance moves. He was seated four rows from the stage on your left....when you all pointed him out and applauded his singing and "dance moves" he was in orbit. As my grandson left the show he was high fived and fist bumped by several audience members as the "dancing kid." He was in hope of getting a shirt but due to mechanical issues he was unable to. He told me he is going to save his money so when you come back he will get "meet and greet" tickets for his mom and himself. Thank you for providing a life long memory for my daughter and her son. She was crying happy tears as she told me about this magical evening that Asher had spent with Home Free. Often we don't see what a powerful small act of kindness can mean to someone. Thanks again...

@Niranjan Rajesh Considering where his chest voice range sits, he is undeniably a basso profundo.
@aradina64325 жыл бұрын
@Niranjan Rajesh Actually no, the average chest range for a Basso Profundo is C2 to C4 so I would definitely consider him a Basso Profundo. A1 or B flat 1 is an extreme to the regular range. I hear Avi talking and it dips down to a C2, Tim is lower than Avi so it wouldn't make any sense for him to be a bass baritone. If you didn't know, the average range for bass baritone is around an F2 to F4, not C2 to C4. Also just because they can sing that low doesn't mean they have to talk that low.
@aradina64325 жыл бұрын
@Niranjan Rajesh As a follow-up, you are mistaken by Tim's chest range. His chest range actually can dip down to around a G1 to D4. Which as far as range is pretty impressive! Maybe you have the Tim's mixed up? Tim storms chest range is around a Bb1 so maybe you got him and Tim Foust mixed up? hehe
@aradina64325 жыл бұрын

I love listening to the different intonations of their (the bass') voices- sorry, I only know Avi's name. The Oakridge Boy has a very southern twang sounding to it, and he is a lot brighter in his control of his voice. Avi on the other hand has a very delicate blend of pop and opera sounding to him. The opera is coming from the roundness of his vowels, and that he sings from the back of his throat, while the Oakridge Boy sings from the roof of his mouth. Either way, they sound amazing together. They should do more music like this- the whole, Avi singing with them.

Amazing having Avi join Home Free for this one. Many of Home Free's arrangements benefit from a strong bass vocal that takes advantage of Tim's unique range and rare bass ability. Unfortunately if Tim is singing a bass vocal then he can't also provide a solid bass instrumental line. With the addition of Avi who can almost match Tim note for note, they have both. The end product so much more solid. And props to Home Free and Tim for including Avi in both the bass vocal and instrumental parts. Such rich tones when both Tim and Avi were sharing the vocal. I don't remember ever hearing two serious bass vocalists sharing the lead in a song. This really makes the video something special.
