@@UGWilson Nihilists are actually really reprehensible, but the term "Nihilist" has become synonymous with "Existentialist" which is what creates this confusion. Nihilists believe that nothing has any intrinsic meaning, and we *cannot* create meaning ourselves. This can then be used to justify any and all manner of horrible things, like murder or rape, for personal pleasure. Existentialists also believe nothing has any intrinsic meaning, BUT they believe we *can* create our own meaning. The fact that we are alive and experience emotions, coupled with the fact that others are also alive and experience those same emotions, is enough for Existentialists to not kill and rape for personal pleasure. Nihilists are bad
@a.v.y83312 ай бұрын
@@nadivkaspi6211 nihilism itself isn't a reprehensible philosophy. like you said, the core of it is that nothing has meaning, and we cannot create that meaning. by itself, it's neutral. it's a lot of reprehensible people who use this concept of "no meaning" to act as if it's okay to do anything they like because "it doesn't matter anyway". it's the same concept of how most religions at their core have a philosophy of "good actions have good consequences, bad actions have bad consequences, so do good things and not bad things". but a lot of people take it upon themselves to determine what is bad and good and use it to justify their own bad actions. what happens in these two examples are exactly the same - the fundamental philosophy of these means of thinking get polluted and corrupted by human desire or human interest, and are thus used as justifications or frames of mind to commit atrocities without having to reflect on their own moral cores and consciences.

Tell that to Antifa and BLM in Portland, Seattle, New York City, etc. Civil War is on the horizon and no amount of wishful thinking is going to change that fact. I'm a Registered Independent, did NOT vote for Trump in 2016 and probably will NOT vote for him this year. However, if Biden wins, we are all doomed; Bernie, Warren, AOC, et al, will take the reigns, and blood will be running in the streets by this time next year, and EVERY city in America will look like Chicago on a weekend on the hottest day in Summer. Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY PS. No, the CW will not begin because Trump lost; it will begin because President Biden will sign executive orders that are, like Obama's DACA, unconstitutional, the Dem controlled House and Senate will pass unconstitutional laws stripping people of their freedoms and rights, that it will be THOSE transgressions which will precipitate the blood letting. The Republic is dying.

I am 68 years old and disabled. As such, I watch a LOT of music videos. I fell in love with your music recently. It is so dynamic! I graduated from Syracuse University in art and do a lot of portraiture. If anyone interested, let me know and I'll do one...AT NO CHARGE (That's refreshing isn't it). Tim, you have a fantastic range! I really can't pick my favorite song because they are all my favorites. Your style in my opinion should be one of the top groups right now in music. It's not just the songs. It's the acting you guys do. Well, thank you for your music. It always makes me smile! Sandy Thompson

Whole heartedly agree with this video. I we would just embrace what we have in common, we would soon find out that the rest does not matter!!!

I love all of your work and have seen your performance live in Deadwood. I have to say, as a music educator and as a human being, this is probably your best and should be your most played piece. This art should be screamed from every rooftop. My humble opinion.

Love it! It's so nice to hear Tim actually sing more than just some bass lines here and there. I also love his new hairstyle! 💖💖💖

kyndakrazy I know that. I've been listening to Home Free since before Chance joined and Chris Rupp was still in the group. I have most of their albums. Tim is my favourite, and I still think it's nice every time he gets to sing more than just the bass line.

I had to put on my headphones and restart the video as soon as Tim started singing. I saved the video to my Home Free List before he even started singing.

This amazing bunch of down to earth guys keep spoiling us with quality arrangements. I love Home Free and all that they stand for. This latest song is so on point - let us all accept one another and help each other. We are all Gods people, no more divides, no more tensions, no more hate - sending healing and blessings to everyone , keep strong and keep smiling, stay well and safe. Thank you Home Free.

This absolutely blew me away! It sparked an ember of hope again in these dark days. I am grateful not only for your stunningly beautiful music, but for your encouragement and faith in the sometimes nebulous goodness in humans. Please keep singing and praying for us!
