Hey guys! So glad you tried out ice fishing. I fish for perch and bluegills here in northern Michigan. It fun to get outside in the winter month. I would suggest to go to a small town bait and tackle shop to find out what the fish like in your area. The ol timers know the scoop. I use crawlers. Its a live bait. It is the bug before it turns into mayflies. Pan fish love them in the winter. I fish about a foot or two on top of the lake floor. Okay I told you my fishing secrets now I need to ask you to link the dog toy that Joe always is throwing for the dogs. Thanks guys. 😊 Hey Parker!! 👋 Ooh I loved the ice fishing rap. We one like that but it was about deer hunting. 🦌

If you guys liked ice fishing you should look into getting tip-ups! You can drill holes further out and apart and don't have to sit there with them. Normally they have a flag so when a fish bites you'll see the flag go up then you can go out there and finish the job! Also I recommend watching some of Simple Living Alaska videos. They do go fishing/ice fishing a lot. Love watching this journey you guys went on to get to Alaska and seeing you all enjoy it so much.

I ice fish here in Idaho... You guys are on it... We can fish with 5 hooks to a line and 5 holes per fisherman... more opportunity to catch. You guys only need a fish flasher/finder. Meal worms, earth worms and powerbait / marshmallows work best... might put liquid black licorice on bait. You guys are setup well. Nice to ice fish for socializing, relaxing, exercising, getting fresh air in winter, and catching... Really the experience getting out with friends and family is best part... Loved the video... nothing like sitting on a slab of ice to get a person excited...lol
