Spring Clean Up in Alaska! | The Snow is Finally Melting...Prepping the Property for Summer Projects

We arrived in Alaska during the coldest of the winter season. It was -8 degrees the night we arrived at our little off grid cabin. As the snow begins to melt, we are so excited to clean up the property to gear up for all of the spring & summer projects we have planned! Never been so excited to see some DIRT! MEATBALL RECIPE:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 large egg
1 small onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup parmesan cheese finely grated
1/2 cup pork rind breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a large mixing bowl, add all the meatball ingredients and use your hands to mix well. Prepare meat mixture into meatballs & set aside. Preheat oven to approx 400 degrees. Heat olive oil in a pan, sear meatballs for 1-2 minutes turning to brown all sides. Place the pan with meatballs in the oven & bake for approx 25 minutes or until cooked through. Serve over a bed of noodles or zoodles & serve with your favorite spaghetti sauce!

One of the many reasons I love to watch this channel is because Joe reminds me 100% of my Dad. From his demeanor to his comfortability to wear shorts in the middle of winter (we had his shorts on his casket), being a all around handyman, to all of the "sounds" n sniffles. I had fun watching your solid treehouse build and how you want it last even thru to grandkids. I had the same dream. We built a solid treehouse for our 3 kids in 1990 and now our grandkids play in it. It has a covered deck, an open deck, a wooden ladder for access, and a metal slide for quick escapes. When the kids are not using it, the squirrels, cats, and hummingbirds enjoy it. Dreams do come true! Family❣️

This was such a fun video to watch. Your daughter has so many of her mom's expressions! That is a good complement! retired from teaching at the high school and grade school levels. For 7 years we had the most wonderful principal. On our first day each year of in service he would always say.....never touch a student in a good way and never touch them in a bad way, that way you will never have to explain your intentions. I believe, especially these days, a very good rule to follow.
