OMGosh, those kids are a trip. They really think they're making stuff....so cute. You know what? The best thing you can do with that wool is make your own pure, priceless, lanolin. Start an outdoor fire, if you can grab a big heavy pot, or half of a burn barrel, you can put water in it, and the wool, sir, stir, stir, like a witches brew...lol They have videos on line. You can see the natural instincts of your dogs as the Malinois is a herding dog! They are marking and checking the perimeters to protect the herd! Good work boys!

Tina, you and Joe did a great job shearing the sheep. They will definitely feel so much better now. They will not, hopefully, keep picking up so many twigs and pine needles. They seem to have settled in quite nicely.

I bet that was such a relief for the sheep to get rid of all that wool- it's has to feel so much better. I can't believe how much you all have accomplished from Spring until now- so busy. Great job on the Kellan Cam. Fun to see the boys outside enjoy the Alaskan nature 😊

As an ex-sheep farmer you guys did pretty well shearing the sheep, it’s hard to deal with long matted wool! Of course as an Aussie farmer we had merinos so the wool was finer and softer and shorn every 12 months. You guys are really doing great, thanks for sharing your lives with us all, we (wife and I) admire the way you tackle such a variety of jobs, you both are so capable, well done. Great videoing/editing as well. God bless you and your little family.

The sheep shearing looked more time consuming than I thought it would take, but you have to be careful with their bodies! I enjoyed watching it! The boys swimming and making mud pies was great! Thank YOU!

Only thing about the shears is they get hot 🥵 and you have to let the shears cool down ever so often. 😊

My sister and I, and cousins made mud pies and made pretend houses in the woods when we were kids. We live in the south so it was hot in the summer. The piney woods in Louisiana was perfect for it! We never noticed the heat until we got older. So happy to see kids using their imagination.

I love the boys playing in the dirt and making “meatballs”, when I was a kid I loved making mud pies too. So nice to see kiddos out playing and using their imagination to entertain themselves.

Good job shearing the sheep! I bought the raw wool to mulch the garden beds. It's good for the soil and the slugs don't like it. It's the only thing that keeps them away from my vegetables. It was nice to see the boys swimming in the pond and enjoying themselves!

Aren't you glad you only have to shear the sheep once a year? 🐏 🐑 The dogs & shheep seem to be liking each other. And Tina, I remember sitting in my sandbox with a spoon. I just remember it being grainy.

Not be “that lady” but my hunky hubby and I love watching your channel. Hunky is deaf and uses closed captions and this one doesn’t have them again. You’ll need to wait longer after she posts a video if you want closed captions. Within a few hours to a day, KZbin will automatically create captions for videos using machine-driven speech recognition.
