Jam packed full DAY IN THE LIFE! We just got the call, our camper shell that we ordered for our truck is ready for pick up! We are moving in just a few short months to our forever homestead in ALASKA! We need this camper shell because our pets will be traveling across country with us in the back of our truck!
I'm also discussing fertility & how I've been tracking my ovulation to prepare for Joe's vasectomy reversal in just a couple of weeks! We're excited to start trying for another baby Watson! We're also sharing the balcony garden with you as I harvest some lettuce for dinner & then we are making DIY homemade dehydrated dog food! We spend the extra money to buy dog food that is a bit more expensive, because we want to give our dogs the best...but we also like to supplement their kibble with more nutrients! Buying dehydrated or even freeze dried dog food on Amazon can get very pricey! So today, we're making our own. Cheers...
Dog food recipe:
Beef liver
Chicken
Carrots
Oats
Blueberries & raspberries
Ground beef
Prepare everything & mix together to form patties. Dehydrate them at 160 degrees for 10-12 hours. Boom! That's all there is to it!

I know exactly what you’re saying with the liver smell, horrible. My parents also served liver at least 3 times a month…. Onions and bacon helped with the smell but getting past to texture was almost too much for me. Im70 next year and once I was old enough to live on my own, liver never passed through my threshold. @@cassyreif697 hey! Great question. So actually the ones we were buying from Amazon were “freeze-dried.” Not frozen like you’re thinking where you put them in a freezer. You freeze dry things by putting them into an actual freeze drying machine which takes all the moisture out, similar to dehydrating. I hope that makes sense. I’ve yet to freeze dry anything, but hoping to get a freeze dryer in the near future as items that are freeze dried last for up to 25 yrs! It’s amazing. 😊
