My son is now 50, and I remember taking him in his stroller and going to Ben Franklin. We had very little extra money , so would do a lot of dreaming. But oh those hours of just browsing and imagining was wonderful. And, like you, my favorite fragrances are fall and winter. Anything pumpkin, cider, gingerbread , balsam and fir ! I too, stock up during the holidays with one of my favorite Airwick wall oils ... Pine and Spruce, so I have enough all year. Looking forward to your fall tour.

We use to vacation at Nags Head when I was in high school/college. There was a Ben Franklin within walking distance of our cottage. My Mom and I would always go shopping there every year. It is still there!

Love love love this! You really got some killer deals and great finds! I live in a small A Frame cottage on the very southwestern tip of Nova Scotia and have no room for storing much darn it. But I'm envisioning a great Halloween dinner table with a black tablecloth, those placemats and napkins, that paper pumpkin as a center piece and maybe cream colored plates, or orange or black. I can't wait for Fall and the holidays. Sick to death of all this heat and humidity and bugs big enough to carry away a human! LOL

Oh, I LOVE the Roasted Chestnut and Acorn melts! I would say that it's a slightly earthy/woodsy spice - very cozy and autumnal, yet unique from the "old faithful" Fall scents like pumpkin spice, apple cider, etc (it does pair phenomenally with these traditional scents, too!) 🍂🍁🎃

Chris, I would grab a can of 3M fabric protector "scotchguard" and do a few coats. Also 3M fabric water sealant. It works great as I had dining chairs I wanted to use outside under a pergola in the event water splashed on them, they didn't get moldy.
