I just love your style. I recently bought a 1938 brick exterior farmhouse that has all the original wood floors and wood trim on the inside. I refused to paint over any of it. I struggled with how to update it and what I landed on was a look very much like yours with antique wood furniture pieces but with touches of modern and glam and luxury thrown in to update it all. As for your Easter décor, spot on. You may not have much of it but the pieces you do have are fabulous!

I truly agree with your attitude about adding to a collection over time. Frankly, few of us can afford to make entire collections at one time. I enjoyed meeting you for the first time this morning.We have very similar tastes in decor, but your wonderful home is much grander than mine. I am so deeply thankful for what I do have. Thank you for the fun visit today. I am excited to visit you during all of the holidays. Years ago we had a place that was a collectors heaven where I found a array of of 40s and 50s greeting cards which I pull out of the storage places and display seasonally. As I live near Colonial Williamsburg I enjoy visiting there to see what they have.

Oh my gosh! I have those Home and Gardens books too. I’ve never seen them anywhere else. I got mine when a neighbor died and his family had a yard sale. He was an avid gardener and an older man when I was still in my twenties and a new homeowner. I always admired his English gardens when I went by his house. He must have had a subscription because he had them in special binders that were made for them. They were dark green so the collection looks like a series of hard covered garden books. I have eight binder books that holds about five magazines each, so about forty magazines all together. I just love them! So full of useful information for the gardener.

We like so many of the same things I also collect antique and vintage post cards. Love to display them.I use old flower frogs for displaying them . I have a so many of the same things You have in your home love going to antique shops. Hope this virus gets over and we can do things again but we need to do whatever they say to keep this from spreading. You are decorating your beautiful home so wonderfully.
