Powertec needs to have you on a hyperlink. Reason for is because your loyal and you go into full depth on their products when you buy them. Due to your video i purchased their bench some seat attachments and also the smith machine because of your reviews. Wasn’t disappointed at all and I have all rogue equipment in my own home gym. Keep up the solid work man you don’t get enough love as you should.

Thanks so much. Also, check out my video comparing this bench to the Ironmaster Super Bench Pro. I think for bench and DB work, the IM is a better option for most, but the Powertec’s ability to accept all the attachments makes it pretty unique.

When I bought my Powertec few years ago, I told myself that the only option I wouldn't buy was this one. But as the years go by, doing bodyweight dips is starting to be risky for my shoulders and clavicles, I needed more safety in the movement, so I ordered this option today, joining all the others in the end! I can't wait to try it out. Good demo video again

Thanks so much! I sold a lot of equipment to make room for new reviews, and this is the attachment I miss the most (I’ll probably buy another one at some point). Like you said, much easier on the joints than body weight dips and easier to easily increase weight from session to session than body weight dips. If you have a chance, please let me know what you think when you get it.

Finally got the dip attachment, had been putting it off due to storage space, used it today for the first time and was very impressed, I can do weighted dips but Found I get better activation doing sets of 15 with just 80kg on this, plus it put no stress on my shoulders while at the same time I can feel they are being worked.

I enjoy watching your reviews even when I already own the piece you are talking about. I have the older version of this without the angled horns and I have had a plate fallen off before when I have forgotten to put the collars on. So the angled horns are a nice improvement. I like this piece. As you mentioned, less stress on my joints than regular dips and allows me to do as many reps/sets as I want. I have even tried lying down on a bench underneath it and using it for pulls like a reverse bench press. It's Ok for that movement but not the greatest. But for dips it is a keeper.

This looks great. Do you think it would work if it was just left in the powertec accessory stand (i.e. without using the bench)? It doesn't look like the height would be different, but maybe there would be too much lateral stress if it is secured so close to the bottom of the post.
@HomeGymHacksandReviews

It’s not secure enough when used in the base. The bench secures the attachment closer to the handles than the holder does and the bench has a locking knob.

@@HomeGymHacksandReviews thanks for the reply 💯 yeah it was the stopper part that broke off of the dip ha, the replacement part was a lot better 💪 it was actually from a company in the UK that sells powertec so it could have been down to their storage with the rust problems. I am tossing up between ATX Triplex vs Powertec Levergym myself and the attachment benches will be a big factor in my choice too. Looks like I may have height/size issues with some elements of the Powertec, but I'm nearly 6 foot 6 also, so not your average size human being. Do rate this attachment as it will likely be the best option for someone who doesn't have the space/cash for an assisted dip machine but looks like I may have to elevate it somehow if I were to get it to get full ROM. Does the ATX dip attachment you own have multiple adjustment points so it can help people of various sizes? Seen Lee Priest do a demo on a Sams Fitness video of it, but couldn't tell in regards to adjustment points (I'm a Sams customer fwiw) I have an Ironmaster DB/KB kit already so going with an Ironmaster SB Pro for the attachment bench is an option for me too (preacher, crunch, spotting saddles all interest me)

@@redwhiteandblueblood I am 1.90 meters myself. I have no problems with the ATX parts. yes, they can be put in different positions. I don't have too much space, so I chose this option. I also have a double cable machine and a half squat / bench press. Both from Body-Solid, from the pro-range.

@@leftwinger764 thanks for the reply, what's it like doing supported rows/prone flys on your ATX bench? @@leftwinger764 nah it's ok, thought you had the ATX bench Yeah I've seen some videos from French KZbinrs flip flop between Powertec/ATX bench/accessories as they were part of the same company originally, but split a couple of years ago, so designs on certain things are very similar and obviously the attachment ports are the same size on both benches

Im a little concerned about getting a full range of motion with this due to the rubber bumper on the side of the person doign thr dips . Can you go down till your arms are locked out and get a full stretch? I've seen 2 other videos, the first where the rubber bumper was set in fhe low position and the guy s arms were still bent at rhe bottom of the rep due to the lever hitting the bumper. I also saw a video only one yr old that the attachment didn't have a rubber bumper at all . The dip attachment without the rubber bumper, is that the old version or rhe newest version. ?

Would you happen to know of any creative storage ideas for the dip or pec fly attachment? I’m trying to figure out a way to store these before I purchase them and my gym is all out of floor space, so wall storage is the only option. It looks like, based on the dimensions, there isn’t really want way to store these attachments on the wall without them sticking out really far from the wall, correct? Thanks!
@HomeGymHacksandReviews

You are correct. These are difficult to store without the storage attachment organizer (which takes up floor space). I have seen some people use hooks or shelves to store them on the wall, but the dimensions even make that tricky.
