I have this attachment. I actually like how there’s less resistance at the bottom because dumbbell flys are rough on my shoulders. Some say that the positive extension should be greater, past the chest, like a crossover.

Nice! One idea for bands using the pec deck: instead of two longer bands, try one mini band directly installed on the plate holders. It works in a similar fashion, but you'll need only one band and no extra room to place the dumbbells. I get many good ideas from your channel. I hope this one can help. Regards.

I like the way the attachment feels. It is easier on my bad shoulder than horizontal presses, but I kind of regret buying it because it takes up so much space. I can't seem to find a good way to store it when I'm not using it and it gets in the way if I leave it on the bench.
@HomeGymHacksandReviews

I agree. If you are tight on space and don’t have the attachment storage piece, it can be difficult to store. However, like you mentioned, to have a Pec fly that is shoulder-friendly and much cheaper than a traditional pec fly is a decent trade-off.

Thank you! I prefer this attachment over Db flys. As I mentioned in the review, there is limited resistance in the beginning of the movement, but some people prefer that bc it places less stress on the shoulders. As the handles get closer together, the exercise becomes increasingly difficult and challenging (in a good way). I like the attachment. Thanks so much. I can’t remember for sure, but I think I show this loaded with 35s and 45s (with the 45s not working unless they are offset). A little weight goes a long way, so a couple 25s and a couple 10s is pretty heavy. Unfortunately, I had to sell this to make room for more reviews so I can’t measure and give you an exact answer on diameter length.

If you could get a metal fabricator to add another weight horn to the other lever arm, that would solve the issue of having too little resistance at the start. It would be like Prime strength equipment, which is the best strength training equipment on the market IMO.

BP, I have been dealing with a shoulder issue for almost 3 months, and oddly enough, I appreciate the lack of resistance in the starting position. Thanka for the review. Could you potentially put 45 lbs plates on by offsetting them. Like say on one side put a 10 then a 45, then on the other side, reverse it and put a 45 then a 10? That way the 45s aren't bumping into each other? Or even use collars instead of 10s?

If the handle makes it easy to carry to the grocery store please don’t get a hold of the quantum trainer 2 or else you won’t be leaving the grocery store until you get a full body workout in since it’s easily collapsible 😅 thanks for the review

I won’t be getting the Leg Press attachment or the Pulldown Attachment. I already have 3 leg machines and don’t really have room for another. I will tell you, I previously had the Leg Press attachment, and it’s a piece I would recommend keeping attached to the workbench or Multipress if you get it.

I have this peice. I don't like it and feel like it was a waste of money. Even worse it's hard to store because of it's awkward shape. I'd rather use dumbbells or cables. Good content though, bro.
@HomeGymHacksandReviews
@HomeGymHacksandReviews 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Sorry to hear you don’t like it. Maybe it’s my arm length, but it fits me nicely and gives me a tremendous amount of muscular fatigue (with the exception of the first .25 of the movement when I don’t hack it with bands). I would rather use it than dumbbells, but like you said, I would take a cable option over it.

I've just picked this up and I'm having problems also...I'm going to chop the little latch allowing my arms to be straight at the end of the lift instead of the arms having to stay bent. By doing this it will allow better range of motion...Down side would be that the arms on the machine will dangle even more

@@STONEAJE I am 5’9” - for someone who is tall, it’s not uncommon to elevate the front feet a couple inches. You can also angle the seat up and put the attachment in a higher setting (if you haven’t tried that).

@@HomeGymHacksandReviews True. They don't get enough credit. I have a butterfly machine from their old Body Smith line as well- solid. Definitely built to last. I do wish Powertec sold an updated version of their Incline fly machine; but, I understand brands needing to scale back on certain things to innovate core products and survive the long term.
