Sometimes you are allowed a calculator but not when it makes it easier if that makes sense. And for cooking, a five minute KZbin video covers what I learned in over a month of "life skills" class

Place eggs in a pot Pour in enough cold water to cover eggs by about an inch Turn on burner Prepare an ice bath Once water comes to a full rolling boil, cover pot tightly with lid and remove from heat Set timer for 10 minutes Transfer eggs to ice bath when timer is up Allow eggs to cool Peel and enjoy

@@iiiiaa2520Water boils at 212F/100C.. so somewhere above that. Temperature doesn’t matter though.. take it off the heat when it’s a rolling boil. That’s it. Monitoring the temperature not necessary.

Boiled 2 White and 4 Brown eggs like you said. Worse boiled eggs I ever tried. So ill go back to my old way. It takes a little longer but they are done and shell almost slides right off.
