6:57 I'm getting many of such alerts. The lock refuses to lock several times until finally succeeds. I'm wondering is it mechanical problem and should send it to repair. I'm having it less than 2 months now.

I really want the u300 to come to the UK.. I have the U200 for my main door (Multi Point Lock) but I want the U300 for office door and other place within my home, which would fit perfectly, which would just swap the handles and stuff.

Thank you for the fantastic review! Our door lock has a latch-can the Aqara U200 automatically operate it? Specifically, if I use my Apple Watch (Home Key), will both the deadbolt and the latch unlock together?

Did you have trouble getting it connected to Apple HomeKit? I've had this lock for a couple week now and it's been impossible to get it to connect with my HomeKit

No, it connected first time. Have you added it to the Aqara app ok?

HomeKit doesn’t work at all with this lock! I have tried everything! Separated the 2.4ghz frequency and just FYI I am not using any separate hub, using the APTV4K connected via Ethernet. Using unifi AP’s throughout the house with Unifi Ultra. Nothing has worked! I factory reset the lock and that seemed to trigger the Apple HomeKit to see the device! Finally it worked!!! Until….. you connect it back to Aqara….. 😢 now HomeKit shows no response!

@@HomeKitAuthority Yea, I had no problem adding it to the Aqara app, but have had zero luck getting it connected to HomeKit

Make sure you have the newest iOS, and a compatible thread border router. After resetting the door, just press once on the button, then add it to Apple home. If it doesn’t work, try resetting again, remove it from Aqara app, but make sure it’s been removed also from setting iPhone/ matter. Restart all devices (phone, router, thread border router) Setup again with Aqara app, follow on screen instructions to do the calibration (preferably manually) If you have questions, reply here.

Can i lock the house from the inside. One of my biggest concerns is my todler who now can open doors. Is there a feature that would make the lock child safe?

What kind of settings can only be done by connecting to the keypad itself ? For example can i add another user to the lock without connecting to the keypad ?

How does it work with a multi point locking system where I have to raise the door handle before locking?

You have to raise the handle before locking. Not had any issues with it when I have used it

Ok so could you “hey Siri open the back door” while pulling into the driveway and this unlock the door? I’ve had a wyze lock for years that Auto Unlocks as I pull into my driveway which in my option is the best feature a smart lock can have and is almost a deal breaker for me. I am wanting to go totally HomeKit since I’m totally in that eco system but I’m struggling to find a homekit lock w the Auto Unlock feature. I am willing to give up the Auto Unlock feature if I can voice command the lock while pulling up to the house. I have carplay and I always have my phone and watch on me.

You can do both. You can also create a automation in Apple home to unlock the door when you arrive home and lock when you leave
