Nope. The losers could have shot the scenes twice, with a Hitlery and a Trump, if they had the guts. Then, the Trump character gets the role. I cannot wait for the new season to start. It is truly remarkable how much their storyline parallels the real news. Except for one flaw that it seems is a common Hollywood phenomena . Did I hear the dialog refer to "Madam President...." Opps!!

They really broadened it this season, covering so many great topics. Big government, big data, conspiracies, abuse from child protective services, alternative media, PTSD, NSA, etc. Awesome action scenes too! Although, I still dislike the moral relativism which has been present in the show since the beginning. They also demonized alternative media.

He was gassed by terrorists but given an antidote beforehand, so he lived but had a giant stroke in the hospital leaving him in a coma with probable brain damage. Carrie almost mercy-killed him in the last few minutes of s5 but evidently didn't go through with it.

have you explored the subject of the many powerful women in Homeland besides Carrie and how are they so often confused by vain, proud, lustful and simply stupid individuals? I'm thinking of Fara, Martha Boyd, Astrid, Elizabeth Keane, Laura Sutton, Allison Carr, Dana, Jessica to name a few ... there may be more. As I look back to the seventh season, I am thinking of President Keane and the frequency with which there is a double standard for dynamic women in power ... not that all / none of these women had their own flaws that put them on the path of challenge and struggle. Now everyone has certainly been underestimated and undermined by people with John Zabel as well. I think the creators of the series didn’t want this to be a theme, now it’s a theme that I picked up anyway. (Ps asking like that why I would love your hot opinion and I hope this is not perceived as unpleasant or inflammatory or stupid !!!) Do I think the writers intended to convey this on purpose? In other words, did the writers intend to convey what is a very true reality for all women? So, I feel that this topic is totally non-controversial and based on facts. The falls of Martha and Allison still hurt especially. Every character in Homeland deserved more, now, again, most women deserve ... Unfortunately.
