Greetings from the Great Sioux Nation. I live on the smallest rez in South Dakota, I overlook the Big Sioux River. Im retired and a health issue has me pinned down with my black labs. Koda thats unacceptable there you dont look like a spring chicken, do you have elder status on your rez? Are you Mississippi or Okla? How about your tribal social services? We built some Tiny Homes this past few years and they are used in sitcho's like yours. The tinyhomes are nice! one small bed/bath/kitchen like 800 sq ft? You need a small table and some canteen like vessel's to hold sugar or flour or so on to keep the mice and bugs out of it.

I totally agree. It's a work in progress ✨️ I also have to have 1 more tarp. Fortunately, there are cats around here to keep the mice down

@@Rockbottomproductions4072 not to be mean. But I can't stand cats around a tent. Other than that. Get some seam seal and get after that tent. I know what it's like not having a home. I'm a little better off. I'm in a milk shed of a barn. I hang all my stuff to keep mice away from it even though I have a cat. But as I said. Get a few of them water bottles more so the ones that are as big around as a pop can . For like flour. It's also a rolling pin then as well.

I did build a platform to get my dry good up off of the floor this morning and my bed is off the ground as well, so if it happens to leak around the floor seams, it won't matter too much and I have cover tarps. I'm hoping to only be in this situation another week or two

@@Rockbottomproductions4072 big tent. Nice as well.what I do is lay down anything I can to preserve the floor . Old tarp works good.. I do a little backpacking. And I have went to a hammock. But a good tent is nice. A ground sheet and mabey a tarp to walk on. And yes a tarp over it. But make sure it doesn't drain on a door or something. Get some spray on water proofing. So it sheds water better. Here in Minnesota we can disperse camp at a 14 day stretch before we need move.

That's probably because my channel started out about camping before my health went a a couple bad turns in life. I'm only homeless temporarily. I hope that it never happens to you or anyone you love but I hope you have a good day
