Is there an update on this? I hope you guys get through this ASAP. I was homeless at 17. I was too young to get an apartment. I lived at a park. But I never gave up. I didn’t do any drugs whatsoever not then or a day in my life. I worked three jobs, using my friends house as an address. I had a straight talk phone from Walmart and at the park there was an outlet to plug it in. I had no blankets, nothing. I got out of it and you can too. You have to really want it. I understand having no help, no family etc. But you CAN do it. I have now graduated college, have an amazing education, got through 3/4 of nursing school until the pandemic screwed that up for me but I still graduated. Buying a house in the next year maybe two (my fiancé owns this house, I’m not on the mortgage). I did it all 100% on my own. YOU CAN DO IT I PROMISE. even when it feels like you can’t, you CAN. @510 ORIGINAL personally, I don’t believe in god but I don’t think it’s fair to bash other people’s religious beliefs and call it a “pedo palace” especially since churches can help provide the homeless with resources that are needed. They're not actually Percocet. Some people just call them percs. Just like how some people call them M30s, Blues, Oxys, Oxycodones, Candiez, Fenty blues, Fentz, and Blue Demons. Me and my fiance have been addicted to them for 5 years now and been homeless for the last 2 years in Yuma Arizona and honestly, dealing with the heat and then having to make money to get well because of the sickness these demon pills give you is fucking horrid.

Let me tell yall a little story of my life and how it's possible to make it back to living a stable life. I got locked up when I was 15 and certified as an adult at that same age. I ended up doing 7 1/2 years on an 8 at both Darrington and Clemens Unit in Texas. I got deported to Mexico in 2012 and came here to basically nothing. I didn't know much of Mexico and the family I had was so distant to me. Basically I only had a place to stay. I didn't talk to them and, the living condition was better when I was locked up than being in this home. But I programmed my mind to view everything bad that I went through in my life to be the fuel to wanting to do right. I started working in low paying jobs and Little by little worked my way up in jobs and different industries. Now Im making more than what a normal Amazon employee makes in the US but in Mexico. So, yes, there is hope, don't give up guys. The best thing about yall is that yall are young and have each other. I didn't have anyone to relate and felt out of place.

thanks to this couple for answering. Its hard to talk about hardships. Our society is tragic. Its breaking people on the way down. Addiction is a bar to progression and a haze to even measuring time while stifling dreams . Its ghoulish that culturally we lean this way. I hear this and ponder how will they ever make it back? The road is long enough and these complications make it even longer. I hope for them the best.
