Walking the streets of London I noticed that there were alot of tents on the side of the streets and the road. Is this city so expensive that people resort to living in tents or is it just that there are a lot of beggars?
Also i tried some very delicious food from Ethopia Also i tried some very delicious food from Ethopia from this lady whose had this amazing street food shop for over ten years. visit her if you ever in the brixton area

Jamaicans and Caribbeans have been here since 1948 - known as the 'Windrush' community, having arrived on the ship ‘Empire Windrush’. Before independence in 1962 Jamaica was still a British colony and they were recruited, invited and travelled to England on their British passports at that time. Many Jamaicans lived in Brixton in the early days and worked hard to buy the very large houses in and around the area. In the 1990s many sold up to the yuppies who started to move in, and the Jamaicans downsized into other areas of London or returned home to the Caribbean. Their offsprings remain in many parts of London. Now Brixton has many nationalities but Jamaicans and Windrush have always been a big part of its history. There's a square in Brixton called 'Windrush' Square, in recognition of and as a tribute to the Jamaicans and other Caribbeans who came after the war and contributed to rebuilding the country and the Brixton area. The Jamaican influence is not as dominant as it used to be but is now part of its history. They paved the way for all the Africans and others who now dominate the area.

The tents in the square at Marble Arch belong mainly to Romanians and other Eastern Europeans who came to the UK to find work but ended up on the streets. They are always moved on but find their way back in the area.

Some of these people choose to do that. Just be humble when you got it always share with love when you can. Some of these people were selfish probably didn't share. Love.

A bit disappointed by you mtu wangu. Homeless people in the UK live in tents and cormfy duvets etc.. Nothing surprises me any more after living in the UK for more than 30 years. I am from Nairobian hoods born and raised "kibeach posse" but i am surprised that you seem so naive about homelessness na wewe unadai umetoka Ungwach. Love your content thogh and all the best.

Why don't you spend your time getting to actually know London, or spend your time looking about the poor and homeless in your own country
