Good job. You could leave coil on just tuck spark plug wire where plug would go and push from there and pull from flywheel motor should slide out easily. Shouldn't have to take throttle rod out when slide engine out rod will come free of carb when reinstalling before slide engine all way in just attach rod to carb before slide it in fully

The duck bill valve in the oil tank usually melts after a few years...

I started working on an XL and haven't finished it yet. Definitely needs lines. Probably needs that duckbill. So the upper/rear/closer to back of saw hose is actually the one that feeds the bar, and the lower / closer to front of the saw one is the pressure line that needs the duckbill?
