This is somewhat how a chainsaw mill is made with a vertical shaft engine. With bigger engine sprocket/pulley, and smaller on jackshaft, for more RPM's.

вы видно отстали от реалии, подобные пилы давно уже делают и не только одноцилиндровые моторы ставят но и 4 и 6, так же соревнования по скорости среза существуют

I would say it's pretty nice build but with that kind of CC four-stroke motor and filling cuts the way he's doing You could probably pull a 42 on that with a full comp chain and still have torque left over I'd like to see this with a bigger bar full comp chain in like a 50-in diameter log You won't have to put any weight on the saw because it weighs a ton already and he should absolutely positively have a chain tensioner on the chain going to the jack shaft

Very interesting!! Only thing I would try fixing is the way the engine sprocket goes on the lower shaft, to be able to easily change the cutting chain. Everything else is very nice!!
