I never thought changing the tracks like that! I even have some of those same tracks from a mk 4 kit, definitely borrowing that idea

Awesome! The Russ tracks have always bugged me a bit (too narrow). Thank you for watching mate, hope you liked the turret! 👍

Great work, I didn't know about the old version so I couldn't see the difference! I prefer the heavy stubber in the turret I think (always found it a bit weird that the Guard use bolters, I feel like they should be iconic for just the space marines and the Guard get the "normal" weapons... oh well)

Thank you mate, I appreciate your feedback 🙂 I have a few of the old forgeworld resin kits - they were quite exciting back in the day as there weren’t anywhere near as many options in the plastic kits. My use of the stubber was a practical decision really - I do know what you mean about regular humans using bolters! Seems sacrilegious somehow! 🤣 thanks for watching 👍

It’s a shame the old boxy dreadnoughts are gone now, they came with a nice smaller storm bolter bit! That’s a great cannon build, though. I actually like the simpler look of it. Sometimes resin parts seem to be crowded with greeblies and don’t fit in too well with plastic kits. I actually think yours fits the rest of the Russ kit much better!

Thank you mate for your kind feedback. I’m glad you liked it! 🙂 I know what you mean about the older one being over crowded with details - interestingly it is really wonky too! It’s not a one off casting error thing either as I have several turrets from this era and they are all super asymmetrical! 😄 thanks for watching 🙏

Thank you! The treads are from a WW1 tank kit - I purchased several on the cheap a few years back (Emhar Tadpole 1:35). Thanks you for watching 👍
