Very impressive how you cleaned the sand using a brush from a brand new motor. great. I think an ebike electric hub motor in the rear would be more efficient. In order to be street legal in the US it must also have pedals. A roof would be great for rain and solar power

Inspiring job, congrats! I was expecting to be a leaning trike when you weld the front arms, but at the end it dont lean even a bit.... can you help to understand why not? If you force and lean your body to the inside of a curve would it lean with you?

juuri näin, koko ohjauksen geometria on täysin päin persettä, samoin istuimen kiinteä asennus ihan väärin, ja jarrujen pedaalit todella paskaa, hyvää oli jousituksen idea, ohjauksen tankojen toteutus täysin pielessä, no oppiipahan ja jos älyä tekee uusiksi paremmin. töppö korimuotoilu myös. monet todella paljon paremmin toteutetut viideot nähty, ite teen joskus triken kans kun verstas kerran on ja aikaa tehdä, entisenä insinöörinä tuo vaihteistokaan ei ole hyvä tein lopputyönä inssi aikoina opiskellessani vaihdelaatikon ja oli "hieman" parempi haha. 5 eteen ja 1 taakse.

You're steering is going to snap you have a bolt that runs perpendicular to the range of motion it needs to be vertical instead of horizontal at the point where the tie rod meets the a arm there's a little bar that comes off of the tire there you got a bolt going horizontal you need to make that bolt go vertical before you attach it to your tie rod. Result better flexibility on your steering and you won't be snapping your tire rods off at the ends.

I need to find a scrapyard where tons of construction steel, steel sheets and new fully packaged suspensions waiting for me to be taken away. Serious, where is the scrap in this ? 98 % on this in new, raw material. And everything fits by taking measures with a measure band =) And, only for the files, your front wheels will be done very soon.

A la mise en route, on constate ce qui était évident au vu du montage approximatif avec des cotes fantaisistes : la roue arrière ne tourne pas rond, elle a du saut. A l'usage, il est évident que la crémaillère de direction, avec ses biellettes "folkloriques", ne durera pas longtemps et montrera vite un jeu incompatible avec un contrôle efficace de la direction. On dirait que ce bricolo ne sait pas utiliser des rotules. Quant au bras oscillant, il ne conviendrait même pas à une mobylette ! Il n'est pas lubrifié et il va vite prendre un jeu incompatible avec une tenue de route acceptable. La boîte de relais permet de passer en marche arrière et même de foncer en marche arrière à fond de 5ème, comme un vulgaire char de combat et l'absence de joint va lui faire pisser de l'huile. Il n'y a pas de tendeurs de chaînes et elles ont tendance à battre. Le montage du pot en porte à faux va engendrer des vibrations qui auront vite fait de le casser. Et tout à l'avenant. Le titre de cette vidéo doit être modifié, en remplaçant "génial" par "débile". Salut et fraternité.

Ray Charles could have seen that was fake. I get the theatrics for dramatic effect. But that was literally the only thing that had sawdust on it and it was only on the floor underneath. Furthermore when you blew everything off the paint was in prestine condition. Completely unnecessary! The content spoke for itself. The reverse gearbox build could have been a whole video right by itself. Great job, and much respect from a fellow diy'er who gets a certain gratification out of building my own stuff rather than buying it. However they do sell those for around a hundred bucks on Amazon though. The amount of time put into thinking that up would have paid for the gearbox. Not to mention the amount of tri-mix, tungsten and other parts that were used to build it. Great build nonetheless, and excellent work on the details. 5 star rating even though the beginning was a lame insult to people's intelligence lol.

The rear shocks don’t do anything because what should be the pivot point is welded and I would not trust the brake on the large wheel being it is held in place by a set screw.

Not only is the brake held on with a set screw but the set screw only attached it to the axle rather than the hub making the brake useless.

Looks fun but I don't think the front tyres will last long? lots of side slip on cornering. Maybe try a conventional 1 front 2 back trike next time, look forward to that.

1 front 2 back have lot non-stabile than 2 front, you idea fall easy to curve drive, but 2 wheel front not fall. all reserve trike has build 2 wheel front just thats, no fall and looking can-am etc other factory trikes. 2 wheel back have lot dangerous drive. but this has build totally worst steering ceometry has totally wrong all.

I recently saw a gear box created form Legos, which reached 100,000 rpm. Could you put one of those high ratio gear boxes into a car and peddle your way up to 70mph+ in a stripped car? One gear box to pedal like a bike which turns a second gear box that rotates the drive shaft in a normal car.
