Thank you for the tip. I'll definitely be trying this soon do you have any tip to get rid or prevent scales?
@GROWSOMETHINGGREENtoday3 жыл бұрын
Please feel free to try this on scales and see if it works! Ive not try it because i don't hv scales much. Would be interesting to see the results. I've read that neem oil does help so maybe the cooking oil in this will work out. Sometimes if the infestation is bad i would highly suggest to cut away affected parts before it spreads. Treating will take time.

Hey nice tutorial. The Spray is effective for how long.

Hard to say especially if you live at a rainy place. With rain quite likely they are gone very fast. Most natural solutions are mild hence you will need to reapply. I would say to monitor your plants and see how it works for you and your environment.

Can i use coconut or sesame oil
@GROWSOMETHINGGREENtoday2 жыл бұрын
I have not tried but i believe is ok because the element of oil is very small and the function is on the melocular level with water.

Do you have red spider mites issues? if so, how do you manage them ya? Thanks
@GROWSOMETHINGGREENtoday3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Sorry for the slow reply! Yes sometimes but not often. I have more leaf miner problems. I usually will cut of all affected leaves. My veggies does not get any spraying ..cause I am not very consistent with spraying even natural or organic ones. So hence I do lose out on some greens. But lately I have started netting up some of my pots..and it's sooo helpful. I really dont need to watch them so much but just water and fertilize. Otherwise on normal days I inspect them and clear of any leaves with pests or infestations. You can check out my video on netting up a pot :) for ideas

Just out of curiosity. I use baking soda to adjust the ph of my water, does this upset your ph balance after application?
@GROWSOMETHINGGREENtoday2 жыл бұрын
The usage here is very diluted and used as a pesticide spray. I've not encountered issues so far, maybe because I do not wash the solution down into the soil.
@pcmikeoftheup2 жыл бұрын
@@GROWSOMETHINGGREENtoday Thank you, I decided to flush my soil with water after application just to be safe. I suppose when growing outdoors vs indoors in pots, you get a natural flush every time it rains.
