Homemade Cub Cadet dump truck

Cub Cadet dumptruck ! Homemade from Sweden!
Built from Cub Cadet 3225, which has a 21-hp Kholer engine.
The entire front and mower deck has been removed and is shortened about 30 cm.
Converted to center steering with dual steering cylinders. The hub comes from a wagon and can be rotated 360 degrees.
The dump truck is copied from a Finnish container truck, Normacont.
The nice thing about the wagon is that it can be lowered to ground level and can be tilted, which is quite unique.
This is a small copy, the original can handle about 6 tons(metric) and is used for example by the defense of Sweden.
Were totally overcrowded when the hooklift came in the 80's.

Det fina med vagnen är att den kan sänkas ner till marknivå och kunna tippas vilket är tämligen unikt.
Detta är en liten kopia, originalet klarar ca 6 ton och användes bland annat av försvaret.
Blev totalt överkörd när krokbilen kom på 80-talet.

Даа уж! У комментаторов просто фантазии не хватает. Отличный мотоблок. Все только и думают что он должен задом заехать и взять груз, а потом типа разгрузить. Я думаю применение ему достаточно! Груз можно закатить, например бочку или рулон сена. Груз можно загнать, например скотину, так как не всякая живность будет к вам в кузов запрыгивать. Так же груз можно затащить, например станок какой нибудь, и так же легко вытолкнуть. Сделать задний борт, и отличная машина получится, хотя нет, она уже получилась!!! Автору респект!

С сша на основе такого прицепа катушки с кабелем возят и разматывают на объекте. Очень удобный прицеп для перевозки тяжелых грузов, бочки,камни.

Terrific! 1.Being able to lower the bin to the ground is a terrific feature. 2.The ability to raise the dump to 45 degrees or so is excellent 3. Obviously very strong. A possible weak point. Looks like lots of nooks and crannies susceptible to water damage, rust and corrosion.

What a great piece of engineering and design. I've been looking for a design like this for cleaning horse stalls in our barn and be able to dump it. Then use it for hauling large items with the lower to ground feature. I would love to see a video on your design and build. Great job!

what a glorious contraption! seems like you could mount the hinge points on the bucket to 2 beams, have a channel in that place on the bucket, and have it pick up different buckets like thunderbird 2. not sure what you would use that for though except for moving heavy equipment and having one bucket driving and one loading one driving, or having one with a closed bucket for hauling stuff that doesn't stay in place. adding some pilot operated one way valves makes sure the bucket doesn't go crooked with the pistons extended. not to rain on your parade though, like i said, glorious contraption, and adds some real extra functionality to the regular tipper. loads of ground clearance vs bed height as well.

Nearly perfectly done (part Swedish.. very proud of you!) I think very patent-able (self propelled, rear loading& articulated), a slightly larger unit would sell extremely well to small to medium contractors in the US .. You could name your own price.. Some version of self loading.. and so a bit more mid carriage strength .. would be very advantageous.FIND someone to partner with now! Absolutely excellent execution!!

Can the hydraulics actually lift a full load of dirt from the ground? It looks like you might be able to hold 4000lbs of dirt in there. Great work though, I have had ideas like this for years, good to see someone actually build one and see it work. I have thought that a similar thing could be done for a front end loader for vehicles not designed for one.

I like how you can drop the box all the way to the ground, but how about to where it barely touches the ground, yet your rear wheels are still touching, & reverse into the soft dirt mound & try loading that way. It might work. Ya never now until you try. Or try a sawdust mound or a straw mound. Add a tailgate so you aint loosing a fully loaded material of somekind when hauling around.

Use like a scraper, just backwards. And no the wheels will not be in the way. Have a little tractor with a bucket on back and it loads just fine. and it has golf course tires.

great idea. May I Suggest an addition? On top of the bed rails, 2 more hyd. Cyl. Put a gate on the Back end, then the hydros would extend to close it tight, and retracting would open the tailgate, and i a sure you could figure out a way tho retract far enough to make the gate ventricle so it is out of the way. With the right pins in the hydros, a quick disconnect could be used tool remove the gate if needed
